Does Matchroom have Usyk , or do DAZN have him. I think Dazn so if Joshua loses again Hearn is going to hit rock bottom
He's game too is, Whyte... whatever anyone thinks of his quality, he does the build-up well, gives his all in the fights and has developed a mean left hook. And he's British, which is very important to Hearn. Keeps him sweet with some nice PPV fights and decent money. But no title... lol
Pretty sure it's DAZN.... but Hearn will make sure his name is heavily linked and, to be fair, I suspect he brokered the deal... so he'll make sure to do plenty of interviews with Kugs....
Joshua will draw less if he loses again to what the casual audience see as a fat lump We know Ruiz can box and fight.... They see a fat guy smack up AJ twice and they will be like "wtf" however Its not the 80s where UK fans stick by their guy like Bruno And until Lewis came around thats all the casual audience had Even then no body bought in to Lewis in the UK He will still make good money ol AJ but your in cuckoo land if he think the good times wont slow down if he takes a second loss I hope he wins but its a strong possibility he becomes less of a draw.. Not a myth
Not that I like hearns very much, tbh. But I had a look at his fighters, and it doesnt seem that he will have a lot of problems even if AJ dies in the ring Anthony Joshua,[3] Amir Khan, Kell Brook, Oleksandr Usyk, Ryan Burnett, Khalid Yafai, Artur Beterbiev, Tevin Farmer, Devin Haney, Katie Taylor, Callum Smith, Rocky Fielding and others. Pretty good stable... pretty damn good stable to be fair.
ok, I was reading outdated information. Big loses those two. But he still has a very good stable of fighters. The OP talks like if he only had joshua, and he actually has a lot of well known talented (and young) fighters. Imho he has nothing to fear, he doesnt depend on AJ.
No because styles make fights. Losing to Ruiz doesn't mean he loses to everyone else. People said when he loses the first time he will lose his appeal yet the Ruiz rematch will be much twice as big as the first fight. Fat lump or not the second fight will he huge among casual boxing fans and easily the biggest fight of the year for British boxing.
And a few young guns, one or two especially who should make huge waves in the future. I won't name them because I don't want to put the ' kiss of death' on them.
Look i want him to win The rematch marketed correctly is huge your right But be honest the casual MOTD punter will drift if he loses again I hear it every day at work Part time fans saying how AJ is pony Yet 4 weeks ago he beats every one The casual fan base is fickle as hell and losing again will damage him i dont care what anyone says Lets hope he wins as with him winning if puts British boxing in a good place If AJ does well our domestic scene does too
