Not that I recall. Which is crazy, since he openly admitted to using for a spell.

You hate Golovkin so much that you missed the point.

I meant that it makes most sense financially for DAZN to have the third fight, not Golovkin or Canelo. DAZN is putting up the money so I am guessing they most want to have the third fight in order to generate most subscriptions. If it was up to Golovkin and Canelo they both would fight Rolls and Fieldings for the fat paychecks.

Maybe it is up to them who they fight? It seems its up to Hoya if and when the rubber match takes place. What makes sense to DAZN is making them agree to a fight before they signed the contract , but that doesn't seem to be the case. Pretty sure they did not want GGG fighting Rolls either.
My point is GGG doesn't need Canelo anymore. He has other good career defining fights available to him at 160 and 168.

Who wouldn't fight Canelo? Even Amir Khan fought Canelo ffs. It doesn't take bravery to fight the biggest cash cow in boxing.

Whatever, dude. You have your perspective, I have mine. Like I said, I don't spend a lot of time worrying about things that don't concern me. I have enough going on in my life not to be concerned with things that have absolutely no impact on me.

Who's worrying about it? I certainly am not worried just because I can discuss it openly. You have enough time to come and comment on a message board, but just NOT this particular topic. Okey dokey...

So how did the antonio margarito wrap pads incident impact you? You've formed your opinion and posted on it multiple times.

I try to be respectful and reply to most posts, even posters who seem to be on here only to argue. I am at work and don't want to waste a lot of time debating a subject with someone who seems to have a closed mind. I assume you are not at work and have a lot of time on your hands. Unfortunately, I am not in that situation. I am through discussing this with you because it is pointless. I am sure you can find someone else to badger.

This is a rare instance where a non-titlist or recognized lineal Champion is being expected to clean up.

The "ducking" criticism in boxing is historically reserved for Champions refusing to answer the call of a worthy contender. Fighters calling each other out and trash talking is a waste of time trying to keep up with, and fans tend to be very selective in their standards on this.

This is why Sturm, Martinez, Cotto, and then Canelo got so much criticism for avoiding Golovkin. Golovkin was Sturm's mandatory, and the other three were lineal Champions refusing to find the time for the recognized division #1. In the case of Canelo, he actually dumped the lineal status WBC title.

Regarding Golovkin. As a titlist he faced all his mandos from 2010 to 2017, and fought no less than 3 unification bouts with other Champions.

The only real case you can make is Derevyanchenko if you are a real hardliner. But the circumstances are understandable. Golovkin vs Canelo 2 was the biggest fight that could be made at 160, and the rubber match is the biggest fight that can be made now. People are bitching just to ***** it seems.

I wasn't badgering you. Just asked a boxing related question that YOU WERE engaging in previously. And you clearly refuse to answer. Not a matter of not having an opinion, you outright refuse to say anything. Other than when YOU Are badgering Cj ,that is. And what was my mind closed about in this instance? If anything, it's the open mind that looks for the inconsistencies. A close mind will NOT look at anything, which is actually what you are doing.

You don't want to talk about it because it doesn't impact you, yet you did w/ CJ, and you did talk about the wraps, which I suppose DID Impact you somehow?

I just find it weird is all how you are clearly dancing away from it, when you had no qualms yesterday discussing it w/ CJ...

Incorrect. He avoided the only decent mandatory challenger that was ever appointed to him. When Joshua's IBF mando pulled out , he fought the nearest in line , which was Carlos Tackam , on 2 weeks notice.

Golovkin could easily have fought Derevyanchenko on 4-5 weeks notice. He simply didn't want to take the fight so found a non-ranker from one division bellow him instead. Indefensible to anybody who isn't totally biased.

Why pretend like Vanes wasn't a busy fight after Canelo/Golovkin 2 was delayed? When has any fighter in history took on a serious opponent in a busy fight in the lead up to a larger bout?

And Vanes wasn't even all that bad. His loss to Charlo who I see many of the Golovkin critics fancy is fairly disputed.
