Ouch! Hope you recouped your losses since then. No one expected Bellew to win that really so I feel your pain.
I wouldn't put his power above Wilder, Whyte or Joshua, personally, but he can definitely hold his own at that weight.
Yeah I kinda did, didn't hurt that bad to be honest! I'm a fan of UK boxing, I don't like Bellew's personality but it was a crazy win.
I dont think most boxing fans know this fight is on.. I only found out a few days ago. This is the must watch fight of the weekend for me
Kudryashov is a faster starter. Makabu is a bit slower. While any man can pick up a KO at any given time the longer it goes the more the Congolese fighter should be favored. It truly is 50/50 affair. Head says Makabu but heart says Kudryashov.
Yeah, I'd consider myself a reasonably big CW fan, but this fight totally flew under the radar for me. It's between this and Glowacki Briedis for me. Dorticos Tabiti is no easy pick either.
This fight might up with either of them completely out on the canvas. It's more likely that Makabu wins, but I wouldn't be surprised by a KO1 even for Kud. Ultimate popcorn fight! You wouldn't be able to finish your popcorn before this is over though.
I don't rate Makabu, look who he has fought, there are far better Cruisers, both of these have been KO'd when they've tried to step up.
I genuinely have no idea who's going to win this. And I can't wait. That being said, I'm leaning Makabu, because I think he's a little more defensively sound, and is a decent counter puncher, he usually gets into trouble when going for the kill, he was rocked by Mchunu badly and stopped by Bellew, both of whom weren't engaging, and making him walk them down. And let's be honest, Dmitry isn't going to be on the backfoot here, but there is always a chance Kudryashov can catch Makabu with something on the front foot as well, but it usually doesn't end very well for face first orthodox KO artists walking down southpaw KO artists.
