Lamotta, I think. He would work Canelo's body with constant pressure.

LaMotta UD, Canelo's defense is not enough to overcome LaMotta's pressure and activity.

Lamottas pressure would really effect Canelo who's stamina isn't the best, his body attacks would be vicious and would make GGG look like Honey G

Also Canelo could possibly outbox Lamotta for a bit but from what I saw in GGG 2, Canelo was willing to throw on people who were there to be hit, Lamotta wouldn't feel a thing that Canelo was throwing and would be able to land his own shots, Lamotta UD or Late stoppage over 12

I honestly don't see Canelo outboxing Jake for any long period. Jake had a ridiculously educated left hand, and would consistently tag Canelo with it. Jake repeatedly outjabbed master boxer Sugar Ray Robinson in the 6th bout. Canelo also didn't have an odd style style or advantages that troubled Jake, like people such as Bert Lytell had.

I'll push it and say Jake stops him later on.

Prime LaMotta?, Canelo would be a 2-1 underdog in my book.

Lamotta is all wrong for canello, he’d be a heavy favorite imo, brutal body attack, granite chin, can swarm all day, and quite a bit bigger naturally than Canello, The raging bull wins this one all day imo

LaMotta was there to be outboxed and I think Canelo has the style to beat him and the toughness to ride out any rough patches.

    I reckon Canelo close UD.

I see Lamotta winning this one. After a fast start by Canelo , Lamotta would slowly grind him down . In a 12rd fight I can see Canelo hanging on and winning a splt/close dec. But in a 15 rd fight "prime vs prime" Lamotta by comfortable dec or late stoppage.

Canelo biggest problem in this one is that he lacks the legs to create distance

I think Canelo is still improving, he’s honed his skills and seems to have found the perfect balance of doing enough to steal rounds by fighting for the last minute and a half of every round, he certainly starts very fast then fades in the middle and relies on that second wind to close out the rest of the fight. That being said, Jake’s going to bring the pressure for 12 hard rounds and can definitely take everything Canelo has to throw.

I’d take Canelo in a close potentially controversial decision. He’d certainly take the majority of the early rounds, take a breather and wait for his second wind to pinch some close rounds towards the end.

    Canelo 7-5 is my verdict
