Ruiz doesn't hit that hard though. Joshua is just super glass jawed. Parker ate Ruiz's shots all night, Liakovich ate his shots all night. Ortiz hits harder than Ruiz. I don't see Ruiz hurting Wilder.
he might not hit the hardest but he's a better boxer and has fast hands dont get me wrong wilder might ko him cold
Ortiz did pretty good against wilder till he gassed i know ruiz dont hit as hard but his gas tank is far superior
Yeah but Ortiz is a much more skilled boxer than Ruiz too, and hits harder. The thing about Wilder is he doesn't throw combinations. Ruiz likes to throw with other fighters. So when Joshua threw more than 1 punch, Ruiz capitalized on that and threw like 3-5 punch combinations after Joshua's 2nd punch. Wilder throws single jabs, hooks, and straights most of the time.
Andy got knocked down by AJ. Wilder could find that chin as well and he's always in danger of getting knocked out. Like someone said, Andy is one of the big 3. 1. Fury 2. Wilder 3. Ruiz 4. AJ
Everyone knows but every single one of them gets knocked down. Ruiz is there to be hit, he gets hit a lot. Don't get me wrong, he's not a punching bag, but I've seen him get hit with so many flush punches throughout his career.
lol we basically agree we just think the odds are different i slightly favor ruiz but know it's a dangerous fight
I believe Fury would likely raid him with jabs and combinations like he did to Chisora/Hammer and there wouldn't be much Ruiz could do. Corner would probably stop it just like those other fights. That fight seems a total mismatch. I'm not convinced Ruiz could even reach Fury's high held head with those swinging middleweight reach hooks, he'd have to throw them like a proper windmill. Interesting fight all of a sudden, though. It's hard to imagine Ruiz beating Wilder, though Wilder did get into a few wild exchanges with Ortiz, so it's possible Ruiz lands a decisive counter. It would be amusing to see it. But Wilder probably lurks around the outside and nails him with an explosive bomb at some point, then lands a few more and finishes him.
I can see Ruiz throwing megashots against Fury like Chisora did, but accurate. Not sure how Ruiz deals with a Fury clinch. Plus Tyson uses his jab a lot more than AJ did. It goes the distance with Fury winning in an ebb n flow FOTY . I don't think Ruiz can evade that right hand for 12 rounds. Typical Wilder win; losses most rounds, stops Ruiz with swelled eyes, like Duhaupaus did to Deontay. KO of the year.
