This will be brutal contest. I expect Glowacky to prevail because of Briedis chin. I mean, i respect both but Briedis haven't faced punchers yet. Briedis chin is untested at this point in time. Glowacky packs power. I don't really understand why Glowacky fell apart against Usyk, maybe too much damage took the toll or lack of gameplan for the fight.
From what I saw I can see that Joshua have suffered serious damage from Andy Ruiz fight but this is boxing and this what you expect. Rematch will broke his career completely. No chance he will be unfied champ after the rematch. He was seriously hurt in the first and he didn't knew where he was and he reportedly said to somebody that he couldn't remember nothing from the 3rd round and foollowing rounds, not a good sign for his chances in rematch if you ask me.
I have seen his fights and it is visible that he have problems with his chin. Also in his last fight he was so open to punches that you can land on him when you want. If Charr can hurt him than Glowacky can as well, besides Glowacky have more fights.
I don't have any dislike of Briedis but he doesn't impress me. Too open, relies on his power too much not boxing basics and his shoulders are so stiff that he denies head movement. he was more diverse in Usyk fight but not in his last fights. You can win title with his style but he doesn't move that much any more and he relies on combos too much. Anyone with skill is going to exploit it. I don't believe that he will use same style as in Usyk fight, just don't believe it and he will lose because of that and maybe because of his chin and lapses in defence.
"WBC withdraws it’s sanctioning of the Briedis vs Glowacki fight. The administrators of the World Boxing Super Series tournament have failed to maintain the integrity of the bout, and have disregarded the WBC rules and regulations," Sulaiman stated. "The WBC strongly rejects the unfortunate discrimination and abuse of power that has been directed against the integrity of our institution. The WBC will evaluate its continuing "
