We have three kings, so the media says. I question the media understanding of what it takes to be a King in boxing as to get there; you have to clean out the best. That has not happened since Wlad's ten year run at the top.

Between the possible combinations of fights between Joshua, Wilder, and Fury, there has been just one, and it was a draw. Yes, Fury deserved to win it, but we have not seen Wilder vs. Joshua, or Fury vs. Joshua.

Ruiz jr badly exposed Joshua, and it wasn't one big punch that did it. Joshua's lack of defense and ability to take and recover from a punch let him down. More problematic for me was Joshua's will to continue.

Wilder is he ever faces a skilled guy who can hit in his prime, might be next.

Fury at his best, which happens when he's not in rehab, at a good weight, and clean of PED's is very good. However he's only fought one good opponent since winning his belt, and that was Wilder. Tom Schwarz is unranked by Ring Magazine and ranked 56th in the world by Box Rec is a very poor pick for a title shot.

So why not a 2nd upset here, and just hit the reset button? Usyk nailed it, a World Boxing Super Series at heavyweight with the winner getting the Ali trophy will give the fans a true King. Enough of these bogus title fights. Let's see the best fights, and hope for a new King who won't waste the fans times with weak title opponents like Fury is tonight, and Wilder has been doing for most of his title defenses.

Trouble with Sharts winning is that that makes Wilder the de facto number one, and I couldn't stand that. :hang

I like it. All this game playing and theatre. We want to know who the king is. We can debate till the cows come home, but the idea of know who the actual champ is, is a beautiful idea.

you have been around for a Long time.....you should know better! you really think having schwarz as a champ would be a good Thing?? here is what would happen: schwarz Returns home a hero and defends his "belt" against absolute no hopers for the rest of his Career...…making a shitload of Money from german televison.

"Let's see the best fights, and hope for a new King who won't waste the fans times with weak title opponents like Fury is tonight". But then the new king would BE one of the weak opponents, defending his title against even weaker opponents. Yay that'll be fun.

Yes, and Schwartz won't be around for a 2nd title defense. He's rated 56th in the world for a reason. He's slow and not very skilled.

Like I said World Boxing Super Series! Guys without belts in Joshua and Fury ( If he lost ) would have no other choice but to enter it. Usyk would be down. Lots of others in the top ten would want it. It would be fantastic! We would have a winner, who beat no less than three fighters in the Ring Magazine's top ten. That fighter could be called King, and few would disagree that he has not earned it.

Schwarz will be one of 6 or 8. And the winner will have beaten at least two really good fighters But okay if you want to see belt champoions avoiding each other and jokes for title defenses as Wilder often does and Fury is doing here, root for no upset.

It is weak. The worst I have seen as a fan since Spinks beat Holmes, before Mike Tyson emerged.

No I want to see a tournament with the follow names in it: Joshua, Usyk, Wilder, Ruiz jr, Schwartz ( Who if he beats Fury won't be called a bum ) Usyk, Hrgovic, and say Joyce. Let them fight, the winner will have three wins over the field.

Does that sound better, or would you rather see one of the three champions picking on very old men, or guys not ranked in the top ten?

No that sounds awful. And Shwartz hasn't beaten Fury, in fact he hasn't beaten anybody. Don't you think you're jumping the gun a bit?

    Fury
    Joshua
    Wilder
    Whyte
    Usyk
    Ruiz Jr
    Parker
    Ortiz

All offer different skill sets. Each match up will be fascinating.

Will never happen though. Too much ego and conflict over venues, continents, etc.
