Tyson Fury 263 vs. Tom Schwarz 245.5

Schwartz isn't very skilled but he has a solid right hand. He looks pretty durable as well.

If Fury can't run the entire night and has to take breaks due to his excess weight, there is a chance to an upset, and I think the right hand of Schwartz hits hard enough to get the job done.

Fury could have not trained for 3 months and he'd still beat Schwarz. Fury looked sharp in the workouts and has trained well. I expect he will beat Schwarz handily.

That depends on whether 263 pounds is too much for Fury or not. If Fury has to manage his punch count and movement , I think Schwartz can engage. Schwartz hits harder than Fury does, so an upset can happen under these circumstances.

If Fury can box and move well, I agree Schwartz doesn't have a good chance. We'll see. Fury was 247 pounds vs Wlad. Now he's 263. 16 more pounds of fat.

Or 16 pounds more muscle. He carries some fat but he looks more muscular to me than he did.

How does Schwarz exactly hit harder than Fury?

Nope, I saw the weigh in. Fury had too much fat on him. Fury's game is not power, but movement, unusually long arms, and some head movement.

    This requires energy and conditioning.

Have you see him fight? Better yet, seeing is believing. Schwartz has a good short right hand. I do not think Fury would take it well, and if he gases I think Schwartz can land it.

If Fury was 290 I wouldn't even consider a Schwarz upset. But it's telling for Fury how he handles his career and what he thinks of Schwarz' level

Fury wouldn’t be dumb enough to lose this fight after all the flack he just given Joshua. He had his game face on at the weigh in I thought, hopefully that’s a good sign.

This is exacly the sort of guy I'd expect to beat Fury. Somebody who isn't a name, who Fury hasn't taken seriously, and has slacked off in training against. These hot-and-cold fighters drive me crazy.

We really don't know how much weight Fury can add and continue to look good. There comes a point where everyone slows down and has less energy for the later rounds. Fury might be under pressure to look good as get a stoppage based on Wilder waxing yet another non top ten type, which plays into what Schwartz wants. .Fury's body looked pretty flabby. 263 pounds, 16 more than what he was vs Wlad.

Schwartz for his part has decent power, above average hand speed, and goes for the finish once hurts his man. While his skills aren't great I think he's in there tonight with the right mind set.

Fury slows down, I see a path for an upset.

But okay, let the Fury fans who say he's not too fat at 263 pounds spike this from an excuse for his performance, win, lose or draw.

Ego and seeking the limelight is often a fighters worst enemy. That fits Fury who has some smarts to him, yet remains very ignorant and arrogant on many topics.

UP TO A POINT, weight and blubber are almost irrelevant for guys like Fury and Ruiz. You can be very skilled and very conditioned and still look like a truck driver. Fury ballooned over 400lbs so he will never have a great body regardless of weight and fitness.
