LMAO at all those clowns who are saying the elbow was okay because Glowacki landed a rabbit punch. **** OFF, go to a gym and start boxing. Watching boxing is not like doing it. Rabbit punches are **** but they're part of the sports and the ref is the guy who should sanctify
them. An elbow from a 200 pound guy is a KO shot in the UFC which can hurt you badly; even worse than a headbutt.

Ultimately that's the refs judgement to make. Like I said. I don't have much sympathy because Glowacki is a very dirty fighter himself and tried to milk it. As for the bell that's the refs fault. 100%.

I won't be disappointed either way. But Briedis is just too damn tricky for Dorticos, and now that his right hand is working again, Dorticos won't be trying to walk through his shots like he did with that featherfisted bum Tabiti tonight. Basically, it'll be easier said than done.

Intentionally rabbit punch, followed by a get off of me elbow. I don't see an issue.

Briedis and Glowacki were both throwing after the bell, Byrd didn't hear it.

It was NEITHER man's fault, the fault lies with senile deaf as a doornail old Byrd.

There was nothing on that rabbit punch , i was a push more than a punch. Briedis did not have to retaliate by potentially breaking his jaw with a roundhouse elbow , but Briedis has been a dirty fighter going back to the Mike Perez fight. His tactics against Perez were worse than Tabiti and Okoile combined.

IMO Briedis was uninspired vs Dinosaur AND Gevor. Hadt to judge his performance today...doubt he's schooling Dorticos. Of course Tabiti is **** and more or less pillow fisted but still Dorticos has the style to outhustle him if he's **** like in the Gevor fight. Of course only if the fight is not in Latvia and the judges are not bought like in the Gevor fight.

Lol, no. Ref cannot decide whehter or not disqualify a guy, boxing rules say so. He only applies the rules. And hitting the other fighter for 20 seconds after the bell rang, is pure 100% DQ, no matther who the F the referee is. The same with knocking down a guy with your elbow.

He was uninspired, and fighting injured. This was the old Briedis, and he's going to be hell to beat.

What a mess. Glowacki deserves a rematch imo and Breidis wins that again probably but at least should be given a chance.
Breidis is tricky and dirty fighter and should be able to win vs Dorticos in the final.

Rofl, so funny when I remember you asking for rigo's DQ for punching 0.001 second after the bell.

So when the ref doesn't step in and both guys are still throwing punches the one who gets the better should be DQ'd. Lol ok.

Elbow notwithstanding, the fact that Glowacki wasn't given a full five minutes after getting dropped following the bell is pretty appalling....and might be grounds for getting the result changed to a NC (Think Barthelemy-Mendez I as an example of that).

The WBO should withhold recognition of the title. At the very least, they should mandate a rematch to take place following the conclusion of this tournament.

If anything it's Byrd's fault, He's an American level ref @Serge

I think you’re right, he just reacted differently. It wasn’t a great thing for Briedis to do but I don’t think most of the blame falls on him for it. He’s still a massive piece of **** for the elbow
