No it wasn't Tony. The MGM's capacity for boxing is just shy of 17,000 and the official attendance was over 9000. Between all you guys and girls in the office i'm sure there is a calculator somewhere.

I'm not your son. And you are not Steve Bunce.

He fought Schwarz for the IBF and WBO ranking and it wasn't his choice it was ESPN's. If you do not remember Fury does not have a belt so must get himself in mandatory position and this is done through boxing organisations rankings. When he has the belt you will see him in with mandatory fighters.

Tiring having to explain the very basics of professional boxing to someone with your posting experience.

To attract over 9,000 paying customers in Las Vegas (over 5000 miles away from his home) to fight an unknown 15-1 underdog is doing pretty well.

He's not Oscar De La Hoya or Mike Tyson or Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather or Canelo Alvarez levels of popular ..... but he's popular.

Look, I know the fight was for a ranking position. However, its still a **** poor opponent and if tries facing such dire opposition again in his next fight then I expect to see you go in on him. You get one of these now and again, but dont make a habit of it, otherwise respect starts to be lost.

Who do you think he should face next?

Just watched this 'fight' on you are a tube as not worth staying up for.

The opponent was as bad as expected and it looks the the World Lineal PED Creed Heavyweight Champion is really going to roger these global PPV mugths.

Who on earth forked out £20 for this fight? :nonono:nonono

Just watched it. He obviously can't fight that level of opponent next, but I'll admit I enjoyed that.

It was a highly entertaining 20 minutes. Everyone looked like they were enjoying it. Even though the opponent was limited he got to show some skills. Loved the Aerosmith as well.

Is there going to be a rematch!? Something was wrong with Schwarz. He didn't seem right from the off. Look at his left eye twitch during Furys ring entrance and why did he bite down on the his gum shield? I've heard from ITK that something happened during Toms last week fight prep that SERIOUSLY hindered his performance. ALSO that the the pollen count was high in Vegas. I don't know what you lot think but the truth will come out soon why Tom didn't perform.

Tony Hayers absolutely sick this morning, ha ha ha. Still talking about a handful of drunk idiots booing in Belfast, and a rematch with Wladimir Klitschko failing to sell out four years ago.

It's going to be a painful few years ahead Tony. This is just the beginning!

With his rematch with Wilder in mind and looking at the rankings some options are:

    Robert Helnius (IBF 5)
Agit Kaybel (IBF 3) but Fury's stable mate and I don't think he would fight him.
    Trevor Bryan (WBA 1)
Manuel Charr (WBA reg) but has legal problems with WBA.

    Wildcards:

Zhilei Zhang (WBO 5) Chinese and will bring the Chinese punters in Vegas.
Kyotaro Fujimoto (WBO 9) Boxing doing huge numbers in Japan at the moment could be a profitable trip abroad, Fury would be up for it.

I would expect something in this 'range' and with the Wilder fight in mind the numbers of any other fighter Whyte v Rivas winner unless there is a belt on the line, Kownacki, Povetkin, Ortiz is booked, Parker is a friend so he wont fight him. Hunter, Hrgovic and Usyk are all with Matchroom and Joyce is his mate so wont fight. Pulev is sitting on his mandatory. Ruiz is teid up with AJ. Any other current prospect does not have the necessary risk and reward factor. People think it's easy to make a big fights in the heavyweight division but with the politics and current depth of the division there really is not that much out there.
