Fury looked sharp. The jab was going. His defense, and head movement was impressive. And he switched southpaw effectively.

Too bad Schwartz can’t box and got hurt so quickly. I was enjoying the show for what it was.

I didn't think he looked brilliant actually. Watch Fury vs Hammer for a world class performance against a less than world class fighter.

The least you can do against an undermatched opponent is look good , and Fury looked better than good. His jab hasn't been that good in years. I think his jab might have briefly stunned Schwartz in the first.

Schwarz is not even B-level, he is a C-Level fighter at best.

Actual B-Level fighters like Breazeale and Chisora would beat Schwarz quite easily but yeah Fury looked amazing beating him.

He's defo improved and sharpened up markedly from Sefer and Pianeta and I would make him the fave to beat Wilder now. I just hope he finds a proper name for September and not a fringe prospect like Schwarz.

I agree, and I'm not a Fury fan. He moved well. He looked sharp. In command of his game old game with some news parts added.

When a champion faces an opponent like this, he needs to look good and blow them out. He did that last night.

At age 30, Fury has a few more good years left. We can only hope his days of facing Tom Schwarz like opponents are over.

After some more thought I went with C+, and changed the title of the tread. However if the next guy sparks Schwartz early too, I will adjust downward. Point taken!

C+ is maybe a tad generous.

Well it's father's day, and on that note, I've got plans.

    Cheers.

Still generous, imo even Dave Allen would beat him down.

Fighters like Schwartz let Fury get away with coming into the ring in atrocious condition. If there's a Wilder rematch I'd like Fury get into the same shape he was in vs. Wlad.

I got no problem with a gimme as long as it's sandwiched between two top men. So Wilder-Schwartz-Wilder, for example, is no problem for me.
