Canelo is not even top 5. Getting gift decision after gift decision doesn`t make you number #1 pound for pound.
Definitely lose both fight against GGG, and at very least should have least 1 of the 2 matches against Lara nad Trout.
Also his ridiculous clause so he can always benefit from a certain fight, it`s pure disgrace.

There's not a better fighter in the world than Saul Canelo Alvarez. He beat GGG, first in his own style than at GGG's own game in the rematch. What he did to GGG is extremely impressive. For you not to recognize what Canelo accomplished vs GGG, I have to question your boxing IQ. He's without a doubt in the Top 3 P4P in the world. The debate for P4P #1 is between Canelo Bud Crawford and Lomachenko.

He beat GGG fair and square. The first time they complained he wasn't aggressive enough, so he comes right at GGG in the rematch walks right through him. He gave GGG the beating of his life.

 

You know what walks right through him is ? I guess not. He never put enough preasure at GGG. GGG didn`t for once found himself on the rope, yet Canelo at one point was hanging on the rope, after hard Golovkin shots.
And in the first fight Canelo was mostly on the rope.
Just because you try to fight on the front foot, doesnt mean you win the fight base on that. When you are on the front foot you need to the aggressor. How you can be that when your opponent "who you walk right through him" land significantly more and throw a lot more than you ?
But i have zero spare time wasting with a blind fanboy, who obviously use every excuse when his fighter will benefit from that.
The funny part is when GGG really pressure Canelo in the first fight and Canelo was constantly on the rope, Canelo ladies saying this isn`t matter, come second fight, even when Canelo was outf***** hard, they were saying vice versa and he won the fight, because ot the pressure, when it was obvious Canelo could not even pressure right.
Pressure and opponent outland outhrow you in 11 out of 12 round not have place in one sentence.
Both fight wasn`t hard to score and wasn`t close at all. GGG clearly won both of them.

Out of the p4p contenders, you must ask yourself, who's skillset would you rather have at any weight when entering the ring. My answer is Crawford. He does it all. Not a p4pounder at this moment but my next choice would be Haney.
