Not sure they can get round the immediate rematch imo.

They can get around it if those two orgs insist on it.

    This could really happen

What makes you think that AJ wants a immediate rematch ? Because he tweeted it ? Means Jack, all the bravado talk is coming from Hearns thru a rehearsed AJ.
Anthony Joshua was shook up beyond shook up from Ruiz, his confidence is totally shot.......he will get KO'ed soon again. Boxing is 80% mental and 20% physical ..........

Honestly it'd be fairly easy to make, Haymon controls both career trajectories. They'll simply tow the line.

Hilarious the WBC was quiet on the unification front for the past 3 years. Now all of a sudden it becomes a priority!

Pretty sure the WBC granted some extensions on the mandatories for Wilder vs Stiverne and Breazeale to allow them to try to work out a unification with AJ first.

So trying to make/encourage/prioritize a unification fight between the two guys who hold all the heavyweight belts is a duck?

Wtf are you even talking about?

obviously you have ignored everything that has gone on before ruiz beat joshua. tool

WBC along with wilder ran for the hills when Joshua was champ

    its plain to see

Andy by KO, Wilder cannot beat a decent fighter.

Wilder would most likely knock Ruiz smooth out.

Doesn't have the footspeed to get inside of Wilders reach consistently without having to take the right hand.
Peak Mike Tyson could do it, Can't see Ruiz getting inside fast enough.

Wilder by KO at some point

As I posted above, WBC (nor WBA) stood in the way of a Wilder-AJ unification. In fact they granted extensions on mandatories to allow them more time to negotiate.

This isn’t about AJ. He’s the former champ. He can’t unify.

Do you want to see a unification of the heavyweight championship? I do. If Wilder and Ruiz can make that fight it’s best for the sport. It’s a great fight. Why wouldn’t anyone want that?

WBC was virtually silent on this until AJ lost.
    makes you wonder.

If Ruiz bests AJ in the rematch, then why not, always want to see best fight the best.
