Right now, every week that passes by GGG gets older and weaker. At 37, he needs to make it happen ASAP, but De La Hoya will want to delay things,
GGG is slowing and stiffening with every fight. Naturally his conditioning is deteriorating as well. Clenelo is in his physical prime, drugged up and has become a deft master of angles and slippery defense. Unfortunately GGG will be stopped in the 3rd fight.
I highly doubt there will be a stoppage in a 3rd match. Both fighters have granite chins and while anything's possible the most likely scenario is it going the distance again, in another close controversial decision.
Just because he took his punches in two fights, doesn't mean he will be able to do so again. I expect Golovkin to show up in the third fight fully opened up and looking to exchange as much as possible. That's what will leave him taking more punches than in the previous fights and eventually get hurt, dropped and stopped. With his recent loss and accepting the loss, you can clearly see it took out of his confidence as was apparent in his last fight and lack of comments/hype from his team.
Canelo's glove would split open before GGG gets KO'ed. When is the last time you have even seen GGG's legs buckle from a punch?
I see Canelo winning even wider in the third fight. Its like JMM-Pac, with every fight they had JMM beat Pac more and more decisively. I don't know what else GGG can do to do better.
Never, but there's a 1st time for everything. It's a miracle he was able to take the shots he did in those fights without flinching.
GGG needs to start strong, stun Canelo in the first 2 rounds so that Canelo respects his power. Then he would have to walk down Canelo like he did in the 1st fight.
Ggg would get countered to death if he goes to the body he already knows that that's why he doesn't go there when fighting Canelo
