Better defense: Canelo or Fury?

I think Canelo's defense is better, but it's comparable. When his defensive skill set is combined with Fury's size and style...I think he is a harder guy to look good against. Canelo's defenisve skill set combined with his chin and style make his more impressive to me.

Oh, it's Canelo by a mile. Fury is only looking good because he's clowning fighting bums with no reflexes and no technique. If Canelo didn't have great defense Golovkin would have taken his head off.

 

I feel GGG and Fury are A level fighters and you mentioned a heavyweight GGG in relation to Fury being a second string heavy, the original question is about defense so compared a heavywweight GGG Fury does not have a second string defense.

yes, the question was about comparable defense between fury and canelo. i brought up ggg because he IS an A level fighter, and canelo looked brilliant defensively against him. a guy with shwarz skills would never lay a glove on canelo.

How many fighters with shittier defenses than Fury have lasted more than 2 rounds v GGG? P4P Wilder is a far harder one punch cruncher than GGG is.
