Thought it might have been a dig at his perceived lack of a fan base. I’m not into the whole @TonyHayers numbers fascination so I’m not even fussed and I doubt Yarde is fussed because he’s getting paid big for a world title shot and his purse won’t depend on him shifting tickets. All that any real boxing fan really should care about is the fact that Yarde is stepping up against arguably the best LHW around. EDIT: also Sheyi Ojo. He any good?

But if you asked me “do you think Hearn should refund tickets to Fitz fans who bought tickets?” My answer would be yes he should. Just like when Saunders pulled out the Murray fight and that card went ahead, I think fans should be refunded. But ALL promoters are ****s and have it in their t’s & c’s so what can you do.
Still hopeful we can pull something off for Kent. Have no idea why Liverpool can’t just give us him permanently on the cheap with an exclusive buy back deal. Selling him to Villa or Leeds for £10m+ is a drop in the ocean for Liverpool and if he comes good they’d need to pay £40m+ down the line to bring him back. Give him to us and you’ll be able to buy him back on the cheap.
