Ruiz Jr Joshua 2 in the UK

If Joshua gets that ref from the Parker fight I wouldn’t like Ruiz’s chances. However, that would be a bad look for Joshua and prove that he needs a stacked deck to win.

If Joshua applies himself and works on his craft he could legitimately beat Ruiz without a crooked ref.

 

Ruiz will need a KO to get a draw. But regardless of where it takes place Joshua will likely take the rematch. There's too much backing behind him I.e trainers, resources and he will be taking the fight 100% seriously and Ruiz will probably be living it up in the meantime
He went from nobody to star over night. a ton of intangibles to think about in the rematch.

To be honest, the odds are that Joshua won't make the same mistake he made last time. That fight was starting to move his direction before he forgot that he wasn't fighting someone who has better hand speed than him, who won't just fold and someone who can actually punch.

Dodgy Brit officiating will no doubt be a thing but I feel the odds are pretty strongly that he won't need it for the same reason I backed AJ to win a tough fight last time.

 

There’s no way there’ll be a dodgy ref or dodgy refs in this fight, you don’t realise how many eyes will be on this - the numbers will be huge. If AJ turns the cards around, it’ll be done fairly - and he’s got a lot to prove.

 

Unless Ruiz pulls a TKO/KO again, there is no way on Earth he can win decision. Money talks in UK.

 

I've said this before and it's not being considered by many but Ruiz seems like the kind of guy who would be susceptible to being "satisfied" with being a multi millionaire and coming in for the rematch in horrendous condition.

That's not a knock on Ruiz btw I just think he's got priorities outside the ring.

 

They can do anything they want in any fight. Look at the corruption over the last few years IV GATE, ludicrous decisions, blatant robberies etc Was anything done about them ? Were there even any inquiries done ?? NO!!!

Hahahaha there’s no way there will be non dodgy ref in UK. Ruiz could score 4 knockdowns and brits would still score it for joshua.

 

I don't think we will see a crook ref, but remember the Golovkin vs Canelo fights?
Those judges didn't care about the capacity of the events, they robbed that man in broad daylight. Same with Canelo vs Floyd.

Hopefully we get a 100% fair fight! I like both guys and think they're great for the sport
