Maybe Dillian Will... but he will always be the real boogeyman now.

Top guys are not wanting him, their trainers definitely dont or their promoters. They'll make him.wait two years but hopefully he gets his chance.

He always shows up.. and always.gives his opponentnthe fight of their.lives... ALWAYS..

Not just from an observers perspective.. but looking at the confessions from the fighters.

Dillian gets so much stick yet he is always at a disadvantage and takes real threats for opposition... and they are always super motivated to.fight Dillian

Your having a laugh surely, his best win was Efrem Callamatti, I know who is he!!

He couldn't even lay a glove on Galloway in his only chance...

Sorry mate but he does not get anywhere near the list.

Kevin Mitchell always sticks out for me, partly because he boxed with my cousin from when they were about 5 and partly because that Linares fight let me and my pal down for about 6 grand between us. I actually had him up on the cards before the clash of heads.

I'm not an expert on the two of them but Chris and Kevin Finnegan must be in this category. Chris won an Olympic Gold and Kevin boxed the great Marvin Hagler twice.

    Complete tosh

Tell me why Whyte one minute says a Uysk match is worthless as no one in the uk knows him and his English is poor then 4 months later signs up to fight Rivas who is even less well known and speaks even less English

Look Whyte will take a dangerous fight
He has shown that and he ain't scared of anyone
But he has a path he choses to an extent just like any top HW
The "they want it they can get it" persona serves him well
    But its flawed

Usyk does nothing for Whyte at this stage, why should he throw Usyk a bone? He has no ranking to offer Whyte, and had little exposure to the UK market compared to Del Boy union jacked Chisora.

Fact is, Whyte takes the harder fights consistently, and no one gives him enough credit for it. Helenius, Parker, Rivas... even Allen look where he is now...

But guys like Fury and Wilder take steps backwards... in rematching Ortiz, fighting Kownacki, Pianeta, Schwarz, its ridiculous.

Did you know Chisora has never been KOd... ever? Until Whyte?

Did you know Parker never been floored, until Whyte?

Majority counted him out against Parker, Helenius, Browne, Chisora, now everyone shits their pants when making betting odds on Whyte...

The very same twats turned their attitude in the Chisora rematch in backing Whyte, and now I ask people about the Rivas fight and no one wants to give me answers... as if they didn't hear me.

Whyte is earning respect through brute force, and yet you guys still count him out against Fury.... when he is the most unpredictable guy in the division to overcome odds consistently.

Who have you got for the Rivas fight|?

Moran and Driscoll were both title claimants, which is probably a roundabout equivalent of an alphabet title these days, but if you don't class them as champions they should be right at the top.

Harvey, Rudkin and Charnley are good shouts. There's a world of difference getting hold of a world title when there is one recognised champion who is HOF level rather than 4+ champions across 17 divisions.

I'd throw Winstone and McAvoy in there as well. Winstone would have been a champion in most eras, and had the misfortune of being around at the same time as one of the division's ATGs. McAvoy could have done with a SMW division, as he struggled to make 160 but was not a genuine LHW.

Barrett had a lot of talent, but most of the other fighters in this thread were thwarted by fighters a lot better than Manning Galloway. He doesn't really belong in this particular discussion.

In the 1990s+ alphabet era, both of the Finnegans pick up a title at some point.

When?!? He was slight underdog against Parker.

Also i back him against Rivas because Rivas is poor. A C level heavy and Whyte is a B+
