He fought the reigning WBO, WBA and IBF champions and knocked them all out.

I love the Ingle style of fighting. Obviously, you have to have the talent to demonstrate it at its world title best but even for the more area level type fighter, following its principles can prevent them from taking an absolute shellacking off a dangerous opponent.

Take Tyan Booth against Eubank Junior for example. Booth was there to take a beating but he was an absolute pain in the backside for Junior, frustrating him throughout.

Every few years, you’ll see a real world level operator emerging from that gym.

Hamed boxed at the Ingle gym from the age of 7....of course he used the Ingle style, he was the epitome of the Ingle style. Every layer of that fighter was created by the Ingle gym. Likewise with Nelson, he started from day dot of his career at the Ingle gym.

You appear to dislike the gym and all that is associated with it. No idea why but I think it’s affecting your judgement somewhat. If you think i’m wrong, the history books say otherwise. Hamed in particular is an all time great.

How can you be an all time great when the only elite opponent you faced schooled you and made you headbutt the turnbuckle

Hamed was beaten up, outclassed and embarrassed in his only fight of real note.

Barrera, Morales, JMM, Pacquiao, Mayweather are all time greats

Hamed is NOT in that company

    A British ATG maybe

A world ATG, not even close.

Totally disagree with you, as does the International Boxing Hall of Fame, Ring Magazine and all the honours he won throughout his career.

It is also worth pointing out that at the time of the Barrera fight, Hamed was already eating too much/drinking too much/shagging too much and not fully motivated. I saw a VHS years ago on his preparation for that fight and it wasn’t a proper camp, it was more a holiday camp.

To this day I am certain a fully motivated Hamed does Barrera via a UD. He was nearly untouchable when focused.

When Hamed was at the Ingle gym none of these were at featherweight.
He tried to make a match with Barrera in 96 and was sat ringside at his fight but he lost to Junior Jones and then lost the rematch.
At that time Hamed was a sensation.

You're referring to a fight 3 years after he left the Ingle gym.

Brook, Galahad and Rhodes all put gloves on there for the first time.
Which other gym in Britain has turned as many novice kids into champions?

In out and out of skill and talent herol Graham and kell.brook are the best. They are the most complete. The others have some kind of flaw.
