Remember Dave Allen said he got the better of Joshua once out of a 100 plus spars. 1/100 is the chance I would give him in if that fight was now.

You have to have excellent boxing fundamentals and a lifetime of being the smaller fighter to pull off them tactics. Saying he just walked him down and threw hooks is simplifying it hugely.

Even if Joshua would have had McCall's chin I still would have give him a 1 in 1000 chance.
Now I'd say 40 to 1 or thereabout.

Absolutely no chance. Ruiz is way more athletic and far more talented. Remember that slow motion like telegraphed right hand that knocked out Nick Webb? AJ could do ten press ups and have a whole chicken Nandos meal by the time that landed.

Not an absolute chance.. Why?

Just because Ruiz beat Joshua, that doesn't mean that anybody can - Joshua still sleeps pretty much everyone else, and I think he beats Ruiz in the rematch.

Dave Allen on his best night hasn't got even 50% of the ability of Andy Ruiz. Ruiz has had a lifetime of commitment and determination to become the fighter he is - show the man some respect!

Bugs me how this only being asked after Ruiz has beaten AJ - Are you implying that "if Ruiz can do it then pretty much anybody can"?

 

Fair enough although I and many others disagree, Ruiz is great and deserves his place in the top 5.. I think he beats anyone besides Fury, and yes that includes Beyonce Wilder.

I can't see AJ losing the rematch personally, but if he did, and somehow ended up fighting Dave Allen - do you really think Allen could do what Parker, Klitschko, Povetkin, Whyte and the rest couldn't?

 

AJ was terrible to be fair, but it's Ruiz who forced that - AJ was doing okay until R3, where he rushed for the finish to try and impress the US (and respond to Wilders murder of Breazeale) and got clipped... Silly mistake which I think he'll certainly fix with the rematch.

Fair enough if that's what you think, I personally don't think Allen would stand a chance against any AJ and I actually think Price will beat him on points! I like Allen though, hilarious guy who lights up my Twitter feed and is tough as old boots!

 

I got into a argument with a friend who was very drunk and he threw a punch at me that was so slow that I ducked and when I lifted my head back up it clipped me, that is the only chance Allen has.
