I'm not saying you guys are wrong but Fury did exactly the same thing last year.
He released a video saying Wilder was not on his immediate radar and that he was working to his own timetable and wouldn't jump to Wilder or Joshua's tune .... ... and then a few days later came out and said he was going to fight Wilder.

    And that worked out okay.

How about sitting at the number 1 contender spot right behind Wilder and his belt for the best part of 2 years? That not enough? Have you seen Wilders resume? At what point did he become so high and mighty about his level of opposition? Hes only ever fought 2 top names himself.

I think they covering their backs as whyte maybe after all this time be made to fight wilder next. The ruling is under discussion so a conclusion be made this month. Which means fury have to wait until after whyte possibly mid 2020. They dont want to risk whyte (matchroom or dazn) guy winning.

No, but there is every chance that Ortiz will slip and break his hip on the way back to the old folks home from his heart doctor, so Fury should be ready to step in.

He needs to earn respect by leaving that little corner of the world where matchroom protect him and come to the good ol' USA

We seen what happened with AJ when he did that, fraud.

That's like a fighter standing up at the count of 10 then complaining after it's waved.

Although I do think, as is the case most of the time, both sides wanted to marinate that rematch a year or so.

Fury DOES talk a lot of rubbish and contradictory stuff ...... BUT I'm not sure why that's being discussed here on this thread anyway.
The OP was tweet about BOB ARUM, not Fury.

Bob Arum is less believable than Fury.
When Fury contradicts himself and goes back on what he said it's probably because he changed his mind ! He doesn't know what he wants.
But when Arum says something unbelievable it's because he's a liar by profession.
