I nominate the shattering of the glass jaw in my AV for KOTY.

    I don't get it.
Dorticos is known puncher and he landed flush on that chin. Dude literally rammed his face into the punch.
And hes never been hurt before.

Even Kudryashov didn't get put out by one shot like that. Tabitis chin might be even more fragile it's just that he's got far better defense, movement and conditioning so Dorticos wasn't able to find his chin until late.

    Um...

Dorticos is actually the only one who put Kudryashov down and out. Durodola and Makabu stopped him standing.

Kudryashov wasn't out for the court like Tabiti was. Badly hurt and done but he still got up or tried to rather. Tabiti was knocked COLD. The ref waved it off almost immediately.

    And?
Kudryashov has never been out cold. He was always stopped on his feet. His chin isn't as bad as people make it out to be.

Tabiti ran face first into a punch. How can you blame him for getting his lights sparked out? By that logic Pacman has also a glass jaw...

Seems like you have a hard time accepting this existence of glass jaws in boxing. Tabiti was brutally iced by one punch(one of the few hard shots he ate all night) his chin is certified china. It's not the fact that he got KO'd. It's HOW. As time goes on he'll be making more return trips to the canvas and you fanboys/deniers won't be able to say ****.

Agree. It had not much to do with Tabiti's chin, but a lot more with the beauty and power of the punch, in combination with Tabiti just making a couple of big mistakes.

Beauty of a KO (no glass)

Why isn't there a Robney Of The Year segment?

Round of the year - AJ vs Ruiz. 3 KDs in one round in a HW championship bout, scored by both boxers, don't happen too often, huh.

THat's going right at the top of my list. And yes @Badbot it's a worthwhile addition, and Tabiti does have a glass jaw. That was literally the first time he was touched clean in the match. Yes it was the perfect shot, and it would have probably dropped or hurt anyone, but Tabiti was KO'd cold, big difference. Dorticos is a heavy heavy handed guy, no doubt, but to produce a KO that violent, that late into a fight and that cleanly, it means Andrew isn't packing the sturdiest set of whiskers imaginable.
