In boxing /Life , they say "Never say never " so perhaps Wilder could drop him . Not sure if he could stop him , maybe on injury s . But George had such a rock solid Chin and it wouldn't surprise me if he was still standing at the end of the fight .
Probably not. Wilder's power is not in dispute but his delivery is somewhat random. He has great difficulty in getting defensively responsible fighters with a chin on them out of the picture. Duhaupas took entire salvoes from Wilder for 11 rounds before the ref called it off. Chuvalo likely sees the end bell imho.
Not only is Wilder unlikely to drop Chuvalo with his telegraphed (but, admittedly, hard and fast) bombs, on George's best day, Deontay could conceivably lose.
He arguably had your boy, Tyson Fury out of there. Everyone wants to discredit Ortiz because of his "age" but none of these boxers are willing to fight him. He's def top five in the division.
Tyson Fury never was or will be my boy so dont assume or take liberties. Steve USS Cunningham a former Cruiserweight also dropped Fury so big deal. I cant help it that today's heavys are afraid of old man Ortiz. I stand by my original post.
I highly doubt it Joshua, Fury, Whyte, Wilder, Parker and Ruiz are all better than him Povetkin and Pulev are both on a level with him Joyce beats him in my view and soon Usyk and Gassiev will be in the division and depending on how they do I'd pick them to beat him as well
To be a contender during Chavalo's era you really had to know how to fight. This era or Wilders era only requires a fighter to have better atheletiscim than the opponent your facing. But we just witnessed what a properly trained fighter can do to the better "athlete ". Or the " body beautifuls ". With the Joahua vs Diaz fight. I've seen Chavalo fight far better skilled fighters than Wilder has shown he is , and not get " dropped " and I'm sure a fighter who had fought better competition, would see Wilders telegraphed right hand before he launched it. And really that's the only real threat he has because he's so basic. So not only he doesn't drop him, but in my opinion Chuvalo probably beats him.
