Good for Golovkin though. I like how he asserts himself and doesn't just sell himself short because fans think he should just bend over and take whatever stick they want to plug him with. He knows and understands the value he brings. NY would be a great place for this fight. People always talk about Canelo having this massive set of nuts. This is a great opportunity to show it.

Both need each other to make that kind of money. So that means that both lose if there is no fight.

Actually the reverse is the true story. you idolize Moonelo and the reason youre all panicking is that you know in your hearts Canelo is not the true champion. You fear that if he is made to fight outside his safe area he will get exposed badly.

Agreed, anywhere sans Mexico is better than Vegas.

I must be the only fan who likes both GGG and Canelo. I thought both were great fights and would love to see them again. I want to see them again in a Spence/Crawford kind of way.

With that said, I feel Golovkin EDGED Alvarez the first time and a draw would have been fine the second time. I am intrigued by Canelo still reaching his prime while Golovkin is slightly regressing. I think Canelo might take the third fight legit or he might just get knocked out. That is why I want to see it. Madison Square Garden in the Fall would be great!

Sounds like DAZN grabbed themselves by the balls...?

Golovkin always has some "legit" excuse. This time it is that he wants to make less money from site fees.

I hear Sergio Martinez is making a comeback. GGG has probably already sent him a contract as well as a gold plated walking stick. Once the fight falls through with Canelo he already has the venue issue to blame. So expect the Martinez fight to be announced soon.
