They'll do it in a neutral venue but Canelo has GB has demanded Canelo gets a 6 point headstart and 3 free punches per round.

DAZN tell both of these guys where and when now. And whilst I don't like Golovkin's divaish attitude and ****ing hate that the little ginger princess always gets his own way in any negotiation he enters.

I think everyone would vote for "outside of Vegas" if there are two choices, but most of us have also decried others for walking away from a fight for the exact same thing or less. Vegas puts up the biggest site fees, period, and that's why the biggest fights are there. I don't make a dollar of it, so I don't care. But that is reality.

Well, he didn't with Floyd. And he didn't for the Golovkin rematch. And while Cotto may be a bigger diva than any, he said their negotiations were friendly cakewalk as Cotto got a big split as the B-side (55-45 IIRC).

Noone dictated terms to Floyd post ODLH and he had Cotto over a barrel - coming to the end of a career in which his legacy was secure offering another huge payday instead of a much less lucrative probable beatdown from someone far less known. Of course Cotto was happy to play ball.

You can't argue with favourable officiating, catchweights and rehydration clauses that he unnecessarily puts in to stack the deck in his favour. He's talented enough not to need to be a ****, he chooses to be one.

thats why texas is also attractive, there is no state taxes. its just that texas doesnt have the set up to attract big money thats interested in more than just boxing. vegas is specifically set up to attract and keep more outside money.

So was Ray Robinson, Ali, etc etc. It is what it is. Don't like it either, I just don't complain about it on a forum endlessly. You are aware no post on this forum will change negotiations for world class boxing matches, yes? So no point in long paragraphs. We know what we know... For the Golovkin rematch, he agreed to all officials and his team said they were all great and fair and even got a generous hail mary offer after the deadline.

Look at all these boxing fans turning into weekend accountants, suddenly defending the Vegas gate earnings.

Why would a boxing fan care where the fight takes place if 99% of you are watching it on a screen?

Good for Golovkin. Enough of the BS from Canelo; chitty judges, roids up the a$$?, afraid to fight outside of Vegas... the list goes on.

I will bet Abel goes to Canelos camp.

Canelo was OK with fighting Rocky Fielding in NY. If he really thinks he can beat GGG this time round, he should be OK with going to NY again.

Basically because we want to see a fair fight, and it's clear that Vegas isn't fair. I guess the deck could still be stacked elsewhere, but in Vegas it's guaranteed.

GGG got generous scorecards in the rematch, if he wants to beat Canelo he should focus on his own performance and leave everything in the ring this time.

    No Vegas, no fight.

GGG should know how the dance goes by now. If you want that pay day you forfeit things and put yourself at the disadvantage. That's why it's THE payday

How is he? If Golden Boy don't want to budge on the location and GGG's side don't submit then the fight doesn't happen. They hold all the cards here.
