He got the contract with DAZN...No matter whi he fights he is getting paid. Hopefully it is Alvarez at MSG.

    This.
That's the reason why AJ is fighting Ruiz next without a warm up. DAZN tells them how and when and not DLH or Hearns.

    I honestly forgot about that.

If DAZN have no clause of sorts that prevent him from just fighting 6 scrubs for 100M then they are ******ed

He just fought at MSG in front of half of an arena of empty seats. Not a great case to make in demanding venue choice.

GGG wants easy fights for PPV money. I don’t actually blame him, but it’s not good for boxing.

We need more Usyk’s in boxing.
This A side B side bull**** is the cancer of the sport.
It’s not hard to understand why ginger wants to keep fighting in Vegas and why Golovkin wants to stay away from there, all these “aww, he’s scared to fight in Vegas” or “he’s Such a diva” are opinions of severely delusional individuals.

We’ll see how Usyk handles himself as a heavyweight in this regard.

At cruiser he needed the WBSS to make himself known, it was a division of basically unknowns who weren’t draws. That offered more $$$ and profile-raising opportunity than he was ever going to get otherwise.

When heavyweight dollars start being talked, we’ll see if goes all diva or not.

The same argument can be said reverse wise. Refusing to fight anywhere but in Vegas, Canelo is such a diva !

Was WBSS first time you heard about Usyk? He’s been at it for much longer than that and surely will not start dragging HW’s to fight him in Ukraine.

He had a bit of a name with hardcore boxing purists. Heard of him? Yeah. Seen him? Nah. It’s a division with no glamor and no future. Even a lot of people who keep up with boxing haven’t actually seen him fight yet, and that’s just fact.

No, he won’t be ‘dragging HW’s to fight him in Ukraine’ because there’s no money in fighting there. But if Eddie decides to market him in the UK then that’s where he’ll ‘drag’ people to fight him ... if he had signed with the old K2 boys, he’d have been ‘dragging’ opponents to Germany or whatever. Up until a certain point he fought in Russia basically.

That’s the way boxing words: if Canelo can pack casinos in Las Vegas (where he also has to pay no state taxes btw), they’ll make it worth everyone’s time to fight there. People want to make it about ‘oooh, he’s afraid to fight outside his comfort zone’ but the fact is it’s about economics ... a guy who’s a draw in one place will probably continue to fight there because it makes dollars (so it makes sense) — and in cases like AJ and Fury where the decision is made to try to gain the lucrative USA market and become an international star, then they’re playing the long game that it will pay off.

He's slower and older, not shot yet. I think he might have a last great performance in him.

The fight should be held on the streets of Nu-Sultan (capital of Kazakstan). No round limit. Keep fighting until one of the iron chins is cracked.

Lets see how tough ginger nuts is away from the protection of Las Vegas.
