    De Carolis' mustering a nice counter 1-2 here and there but getting ensnared too frequently in Gevorgyan's tentacles. De Carolis' wasting lots of energy on ill-fated uppercut combos that just bounce off the points of Gevorgyan's elbows, and then hooks clanging against the backs of his gloves as he shrouds his face with them. Gevorgyan slapping up De Carolis' sides and scoring lefts when they separate.

    So much wrasslin' in the sixth... De Carolis finally able to pry Gevorgyan's arms loose from his trunk and drill him with some uppercuts on the lungs. Gevorgyan with messy lawn sprinkler combos as De Carolis marches in like a madman, headhunting and missing but also getting in nice body digs.

    Gevorgyan warned for billygoating early in the seventh. About time his shenanigans were put in check. De Carolis is backed into the ropes by lumpy right jabs up top, mostly dribbling against his forehead or the pinky edge of his gloves, with Gevorgyan then ploughing away downstairs with left uppercuts. De Carolis unable to escape the ropes for long. Insane amount of clinching. Gevorgyan tries for a HHH pedigree. Time out to check glove tape with half a minute left. Time in. Nada passa.

    I had a feeling this would be super competitive, which is why I suggested the thread (which I thought I had an extra day to comment on, whoops:lol:). What I was expecting it that it would be edging towards a blowout.
