    Prime he disposes of Joshua in 6. Ruiz Jnr and Povetkin would be quite brutal imo, a fan friendly fight anyway !

    Golovkin was swerved, Pov gave up a chance or two if I remember, but that takes nothing away from what he was capable of

    Good fighter but all this stuff with Wilder can be put to bed. Nobody in their right mind would fight someone popping dirty, and the fight with Joshua showed us he would have been KO’d.

    i've alreadyacknowledged he was a stellar amateur, I wanted the pro side.



    this really means nothing unless you list which wins make him great. As you are fully aware,lots of current boxers have just 1 or 2 losses,but none of them are great.

    there is no great win there.Huck is a world class win, and the best there.

    One of the more entertaining fighters when the division was full of boring fighters. Can't help but feel he wasted years tho. It should never have taken him until 2013 to fight Wlad for instance, he had been a pro for 8 years by that point. His opposition between Chambers and Chagaev, what was going on then... Would have loved to have seen him in with Haye, would have been a great fight.

    I feel his potential has somewhat gone unfulfilled.

    Because he's Eastern European and for whatever reason (not going to speculate why) a significant contingent here badly want them and those like them to be better than they are. I like AP, he's a decent fighter and has come a long way, I respect the work he's put in and the success he's had.

    I wonder why over all these years Povetkin never fought Chisora or Haye who both were competing in HW in his prime. Dillian Whyte would be the biggest fight he can make now I guess, but I doubt Dillian is interested.

    There were the dark days when teddy atlas trained him. What a waste. Had him fighting bums and fighting like a muppet. Atlas almost single handedly ruined him.
