Has anyone else lost their A side status as quickly as AJ in recent history?

    I disagree mate.

Wilder has been holding out for 50/50 and people think it's laughable because of AJ and his name.

Now that AJ has been knocked out he would be clearly ducking Wilder if he still insisted on 50% or more.

Same with Fury, but only that fight hasn't ever been mooted as far as I know.

AJ coming off a ko loss is no longer the A Side and is no longer dictating terms to the other title holders in the division.

If AJ tried demanding over 50% against Wilder now he'd be a laughing stock.

Yep. There are lots of examples of this. Oscar-Mosley2, Leonard-Duarn2. The star always gets the lion share.

I thought Duran got 8 million and Leonard got 7 million for the rematch.

You might be right about that one.

But I know Oscar alway got the bigger payday even if he was coming off a loss.

In the rematch with Mosley Oscar was the unified champ, it was Mosley who had just lost twice to Forest.
