Haven't seen the fight, but I read that it was very close. Did Paulie embarrass boxing? With only punching allowed, anything less than a schooling/beat down was a value (Paulie said that if didn't put Lobov into a coma, it's a failure). Talked a mountain of ****, too.
Yes he did, but let's not pretend like boxing fans didn't bring this upon themselves too. Paulie and most boxing fans were saying how superior a boxer, eventho a wash-up is to a MMA fighter, talking about how delusional MMA fans have to be to think Artem even has a chance, etc... and now what? All we hear now is that Paulie is washed-up, shot, has brittle hands, wasn't ever that great, didn't they know this before the fight happened? No? Yes? And let's not forget the fact that Artem is a never-was, that he only managed to stay in the UFC for so long because he's friend with McGregor.
Malignaggi was scared of getting hit throughout the whole fight. A lot of keep away jabs and if he landed anything, it was to the body. Lobov was the aggressor throughout most of the fight and he threw his punches with mean intentions. The most significant punches were landed by Lobov and he actually staggered Malignaggi in the 3rd round. Paulie used his speed and footwork to avoid getting hit as much as he, but he didn't throw a lot in return. It's bare knuckle fighting, so I think he was a lot more cautious than usual and Lobov just outworked him in the last half of the fight.
Paulie lost. It’s a fight and he landed pity pat jabs and ran. Lobov hurt him, staggered him, was the aggressor and had him clinching and running all right. He had no answer for lobov when lobov simply bum rushed him.
Lobov actually broke his left in the 2nd round. Look at it. Paulie claimed to have broken his right. Anyhow,no shame on boxing here. Just an interesting sideshow.
Except, Paulie being shot, past it, feather fisted and with glass hands, is an actual fact. Never weres beat shot ex champions all the time. No different tonight.

I don't think so. It's not like Paulie was KTFO. It was a one point dec win and you could of made a case for Paulie winning. It was an uneventful fight. Plus Paulie is 38 and hasn't fought since 2017. If a active fight or a huge name like Mayweather lost that's a different story.
I couldn't care less wtf happened in the Floyd fight. Its boxing. Its not mma, its boxing. Thats a different ballgame.
