Ceja is outworking Rigo. Nothing punishing but he is outlanding and winning the inside fight in my opinion.

...imagine Rigondeaux losing a decision? This might be a bigger embarrassment than quitting against Hi-Tek..

    (with due respect for Ceja..)

Goossen and Lennox must be inspired by the war in the ring because they’re being combative as **** with one another

Rigondeaux's confidence has completely drained from his face.

While his career was solid, there’s still an element of what could have been with this guy if it wasn’t for all the inactivity and fighters legitimately ducking him.

This kind of reminds me of Kazier Mabuza vs. Zab Judah some years ago...

You had a more or less prime, kind of basic, nearly man on the bubble of world class (Mabuza/Ceja) bullying and outworking a shot former elite who used to rely on speed and elusiveness (Judah/Rigondeaux) and killing them with pressure and body shots...

Judah pulled a miracle kayo from his ass that night. Could we see the same here? If not, Rigondeaux's career is effectively over.

    Round 8

Rigondeaux is trading body shots with Ceja. Both scoring uppercuts, but also both straying below the belt line. The ref takes a point from both men for low blows. BIG knockdown by Rigondeaux with a pole-axing left hand on the right cheek, turning Ceja's head completely around, unconscious for a moment before hitting the canvas. He starts to get up and walk to meet the ref, but is waved off. Early stoppage!

    TKO8!
