Again, you are making your opinion to be some form of fact. The fact is AJ gases out, has a puny tank. The guy clearly doesn't prioritize stamina over looking yoked. Boxing is a skill sport and AJ doesn't put as much emphasis on the skill vs looks. He's got a gym body for cryin out loud. Gym bodies are a joke in real sports.
You're doing the exact same. You have no idea about how he trains or what he prioritises. Yes it does. But if you're someone who gasses as badly as AJ does I think it's safe to assume that knocking off a few pounds in muscle is not suddenly going to turn you into Mo Farah. He has a weakness. If it's not been addressed in ten years then you're basically assuming he is not fussed about correcting a fatal but easy to address flaw, which doesn't seem as plausible as simply acknowledging it's a weakness. Not everything can be fixed folks.
No, I'm not passing opinion as fact. Anyone can improve their stamina if they put in the effort. ANYONE. The key is if they actually prioritize it or not. And about whether I know or not what he does. Are you ****ing ******ed or blind?
The muscles built up in a gym thru specific exercises are strong in those exercises but do not necessarily translate to being a positive in a sport like boxing. Take gymnastics or wrestling for example. Or even cycling... see those guys with the massive calves in cycling? They are useless for climbing but some guys still spend abnormal amounts of time building them up cuz it looks cool.
tend to agree to an extent,im derisive of guys who only train their chest and biceps. To me its training to look good for women, theres no major functional benefit to neglect the rest of your body whilst training the show muscles.
when somebody takes certain drugs the effects stay long after and can give a person muscle growth when they don't want to and they can't stop it, it's pretty terrifying.
The Bodybuilders stamina problems are not physical........he mentally panics and freezes up when pressed and he thinks the Ref has to be on his side when his opponent brings the heat............AJ is not a tough guy, period.
A few things. I never passed my opinion off as fact, this is a delusion of yours. Please feel free to point out where I have. Secondly, no-one has disputed the fact you can make improvements. I said he may already have tried and plateaued. You need to work on your reading comprehension. As for your last, rather odd outburst. You've made yourself look a complete moron. And you might be one. Nothing wrong with that, just most people don't wish to advertise it.. It's one thing struggling with what I'm writing, but you seem to be baffled by your own words, so I'll quote them back to you. You have passed your opinion off as fact, you have made assertions about his training priorities but you're not privy to any of his routines, so how you can state you what he does and doesn't do I've no idea. It's rare you have to explain people's own statements to them, it takes a special kind of idiocy. If you're going to reply to me, do so with some intelligence and civility, or be gone with you. I've no time for children.
Haha what a load of nonsense. AJ isn’t a teenage boy looking for approval and acceptance, attention from girls. He has millions upon millions of dollars, he could look like anything and get social acceptance. Most people don’t suffer from an inferiority complex, especially 6’6 world champions with a 100 million dollars. It’s laughable to think that perspective applies to his situation.
Joshua is neurotic now? The armchair psychologists here, Jesus Christ. As if Joshua isn’t those things you mentioned at the start. You tell yourself that women want short, fat nice guys.
I’m yet to see anyone looking at this objectively. It’s a reaction, and everybody is making physiological claims without knowing/understanding/explaining physiological mechanisms. Before anything people would have to define what ‘too muscular’ is, as that’s as arbitrary as something can be especially in the context of the heavyweight division. Point me to something/someone who is looking at this objectively? The fact there is nobody tells me that this is predicated on the classic boxing insecurity about muscular physiques. The only objectivity I’ve seen in this thread is the guy who listed Joshua’s fight weights.
