I also think it would edge him into 3rd spot. He's been in the harder fights... taken strong... game opposition.. if he wins over Rivas in good fashion its hard to argue Whyte as a top three right now based on resume and recent activity.

We should not be giving passes to people like Wilder and Fury in avoiding the big fights.

Whyte is as tough as nails and if there is one thing we know about Cubans in the pros is that they are not.

Whyte will invest in the body and break Rivas down

I think Rivas quits on his stool in between rounds after getting a pasting. Just a hunch.

    I expect Whyte to win.

I know its bad, but aside from the Chisora fight, I'm more excited about the Price v Allen fight.

    Rivas isn’t Cuban though.
Whyte wins by decision I’m going for.

Fortunately for Rivas, he's not Cuban at all.

Rivas isn’t Cuban he’s Colombian lol. So Was your hunch based purely on his nationality has this info changed your hunch?

Rivas is tough dude I’m not high on him but I can’t see him knowingly quitting he could of jacked in fighting all together after the eye surgery’s and failing to get licensed but he’s kept boxing and rebuilt that shows balls to me.

Loads of people acting outraged on twitter that Usyk has skipped the queue to become mandatory. This was always going to happen...aren’t these boxing Twitter accounts suppose to know their stuff like this?

Planning a holiday to Cuba. Obviously going to check out the pyramids and the Great Wall - anything else you can recommend whilst I’m there?

The half built Empire State Building as you know these Cubans are all quitters so they never finished the job.

Look at the famous Cuban quitters Roberto Duran and Oliver McCall it’s systemic in Cuba all that quitting.

Wilder and Fury fought each other just less than 7 months ago.

Yes m8, unfortunately they are all acting like the tabloid media with their click bate headlines and fake outrage to get more views. Let's see if Whyte offers Usyk a fight for winner to fight as mandatory? I've got a feeling we will be waiting along time for that one

Wouldn't pay £20 for show alone, but my mate is having the PPV at his, so £5 each is perfectly fine.

They’re really hammering the ‘he’s been treated unfairly’ card. If i’m Whyte maybe I would feel like that but the rest of us can afford to be objective. He turned down an opportunity to fight Joshua a few months ago. He wasn’t happy with the terms and that’s fair enough but he can’t say he’s been denied a title shot.

He’s also turned down fights with Pulev and Ortiz that would have got him an opportunity earlier. He should have known Usyk could have called a mandatory at any time. He wouldn't entertain a fight with Usyk because he can’t speak English and nobody apparently knew him here, then signs for a fight with Rivas who nobody knows and can’t speak English.

I’ll support the lad in the ring, he’s entertaining and he gives absolutely everything, but I can’t listen to him anymore outside of it in interviews etc. It’s not a factual narrative, everything’s unfair and negative yet imo he’s been blessed in terms of not only having the mouthpiece and platform of Sky/Matchroom but earning top money as a PPV fighter despite not holding any title. My mate who is a casual fan even text me yesterday saying it’s not fair that Usyk jumped the queue. That’s the power of his team and the media that they can spread that message. Sick of it now.

Your 100% right. Usyk has the best resume of any fighter over the last few years, fighting all the best back to back in their own back yards. If I was Whyte I would be happy stringing along my couple of million from each PPVs as anyone going life and death with Chisira back to back ain't winning no full world title in the heavyweight division.
