I think that Sergio Garcia defeat did a lot of damage not only physically but mentally. He made no improvements against Conway, he needs to take an extended break from boxing with what he's got going on. Fitzy will smash him up as it stands.

I know it sounds a little Naz-esque but i think he should retire. He literally bends over forwards at the waist with his head right on the line of an uppercut and just walks forward. Despise writing sentences like this, but i think he's going to end up hurt badly

He hasn’t exactly transferred over to the pros with amateur style imo. I think he’d do well moving stable and getting trained by booth maybe

As somebody who’s known him for years I proper feel for ted. It sounds like the more money he’s earned, the more he’s gambled and the worse the problems have got for him. That was a shadow of himself on Friday. He needs a break from the sport I think and some proper help from professionals. Unfortunately, there’ll be some decent money in the Fitz fight so he’s obviously gonna take that. As others have mentioned, he’s gonna be in the ring with the wrong state of mind and he’s gonna get hurt...

Did he ever get started, to be finished you have to be someone in the first place and I don't think he ever was.

    Tony Sims I believe.

A change in trainer could be a good move for him. He is still young and has timie to improve. A step back, change of camp and a good rest could do him the world of good.

He said he didn’t pay Sims for the Garcia fight after all the gambling stuff so now feels he owes him big time which is another massive problem he’s got.

Should he even be fighting with all these problems he has out of the ring? The guy needs serious help.

    This.

Tough old situ. Let's assume Boxer X has a massive gambling problem, it's a catch 22 in being in a profession that gives big big payouts (which can be spent as quickly) or opting for a change of career where the gambling problem still exists but can't be financed. Then you add in the physical toll boxing can obviously have....

I think but can't confirm that like alcoholics etc that once a problem gambler always a problem gambler. The neural pathways have been burnt in. There can be no going back to having a cheeky tenner on the weekend, it will always lead back to betting many many times more and chasing losses.

He is heading for brain damage. It's literally horrible watching him fight.
