I can't be the only one thinking this... Right? Respect the fighter but he's boring to listen 2 and even sounds a little punch drunk honestly Roy where you at G
All the English commentators are awful. They all sound like a couple of old drunks just talking crap at the bar
They are all very biased Some of them slightly know what they're on about when they're not sucking BT or Sky's balls
And Paulie seems to have lost his mind recently with all of the **** he's been spouting. Trainers make better commentators than fighters IMO.
No, he knows nothing about boxing, it`s like Steward told him some stuff and he made it work but he doesn`t apply anything he learnt in his commentary, he just sounds like me when he`s a pundit, like a casual in the street.
Yes, he is terrible. I am sure this will be a very unpopular opinion but the HBO team were and always will be the best.
It would have been interesting having Steward and Lewis commentating next to each other and trying to work out how Lewis could do what Manny was saying in the ring but not saying the same things during commentary and if they would contradict each other.
Lennox isn’t very quick in terms of talking on the fly like that so it comes across awkward, it’s not easy to do but he is probably the lower end, hilarious at times. It’s probably something he shouldn’t have got into, he is better in interviews being asked questions I think.
I find Matty Macklin and Andy Lee insightful and very objective. Along with Paulie, they're the only commentators / pundits who appear on Sky Boxing broadcasts and don't act like fanboys and shills for the Matchroom party line.
I honestly would be interested to hear Billy Graham providing the analysis portion of a commentary, if he fancied doing it that is.
