It's unclear what they (Usyk and his team) are going to do next. Should I say it's clear that they don't know themselves what to do next at this point? But it seems like an option of just waiting and fighting the winner is being considered.

We have seen this for a long long time when the World Champion in a smaller weight class challenges the World Champion in a bigger weight class to fight for the World Title of the latter. Nothing is new. Archee Moore (Lt.heavyweight) fought Rockey Marciano for his Heavyweight World Title for example. In case of Usyk, I didn't see his name in the list of top Heavyweight contenders of WBO. Where did you get it from?
As others have already said, no corruption there. It’s in the rules of WBO and it’s a common practice (well, having undisputed champs is not that common). Why does this trigger you so much, though?
I think there's nothing wrong with the rule perse, but all in all it seems all the alphabet orgs have something against the Whyte guy.
I presume Usyk must only take on Joshua as his next fight will being awarded the mano position by WBO? He can't take any other fight between now and fighting the winner of Ruiz vs AJ
Was it a mandatory? That rule stinks. If it’s a voluntary, no problem. But mandatories should be earned.
You guys are missing the point just because they made it a rule for themselves does not mean it’s right and not corrupt!! You can make the exception and make fights but kadatirirs should be earned not given based on work done at another way!!’ This is corruption legal or not legal!!
