Bigger mismatch than Joshua vs Ruiz, this will be embarrassing and brutal, I really fear for Campbell.

Campbell wants to hope the fight is bogus, because he would get seriously KTFO

I highly doubt he wants the biggest pay cheque of his career to be "bogus"

U joking.. Lomas the best fighter p4p and it is proper for him to get the title shot.

Who the hell are abdullev and haney. Ridiculous to even think those two place above Loma....

12 straight title fights and he's wasting his prime?
    Not very astute there...

Yes, Lomachenko is possibly the current top p4p fighter, but I don't care if Lomachenko is the greatest fighter to have ever lived in the entire universe - WBC rules state it should not have been him that got the title shot.

Yes, but WBC are once again making a mockery of those fighters that have had their fights sanctioned by the WBC, paid them their fees for the "privilege", and managed to drag themselves up the rankings.

You guys are so lost on this, but i cant really blame you. Ya'll just don't know Cambell.

Luke Cambell would beat Tank, Haney and Lopez right now. Tank and Haney would be easiest and result in wide UD's. Lopez would be tougher due to his size and brutal power.

Cambell has a big size advantage here. Same or bigger than Linares. Quickness and skills.

When he's on, he's really on. This is gonna be a classy, classy fight. Masterclass stuff that people will study for years.

Lopez v. Comney winner will get their shot next. Another outstanding fight.

You must have misread (or might have overlooked) the rules. WBC clearly dictates that they have full right to select two 'qualified challengers' to fight for the title in the event of it's being vacant. And one of the criterias of qualified challenger is being a champion in the same weight class for other organization. That's where Loma fit into.

Is there any unfairness in the appointment of Loma as WBC title challenger ? Yes, there is. But that's boxing, it's a sport, there are politic.

Is it unfair to Campbell ? Yes and no. He would have better chance to win against rankers below him, but fighting Loma means he would be three organizations unified champion if he wins, instead of one. He is the number one contender for WBC, but now he has a real chance to win other two though not being rated there. What could be any better ?

Is it unfair to Abdullaev ? Maybe yes, but WBC has arranged him to face Haney or Lopez in an eliminator for next mandatory title shot.

Is it unfair to Haney ? Hell no, he is ranked third.

If he never fought Linares and avenged the Mendy fight he would've been a nobody. I know it's hard for people to credit boxers for losses, but if you saw the second half of the Linares fight, Campbell arguably did better than Loma did besides the knockout. Campbell pretty much swept the last 6 rounds, while he got owned and dominated in the 1st. It was really odd, in the first couple rounds he was so scared that Linares' punches made him go flying around. Then in the second half someone gave him the limitless super pill and Linares couldn't touch him. I was clamoring for a rematch cause I know Campbell would have beat Linares handily in a rematch.

Then if you questioned if that evolved Campbell still there the Mendy fight proved that. Campbell literally beat the dog**** and schooled Mendy in the second fight.

But, I don't blame people for calling him a nobody. Based off boxrec he is a nobody. But based off what I witnessed he's at least Linares level, but the biggest difference I think is power. Campbell has respectable power but I question if his power is good enough to keep Loma off him.
