6th July Manchester Card - What are Matchroom thinking?

Also it is advertised on the Manchester Arena website as "World Championship Boxing"

Is that just blatant false advertising?

 

Just went to look at tickets and it say none are available.

I cannot see it has sold out so either it is getting the can or the website is playing up

This is a shambles - Hearn is morphing into a pre BT Frank Warren. The card looks on the verge of being cancelled, otherwise the attendance will be embarrassing,

 

So only 2 know fights?

Definitely a contender for worst card of the year

Is the whole DAZN taking over in the US anyway accurate?

 

That card should be held inside the back of a 750 capacity nightclub at 3am in the morning when everyone is asleep.

What happened to Fitzgerald vs Rose?

 

Issue would be there would be more interest in Fat Dave vs Chavvy Steve having a tear up on the pavement out front over the Missus

 

Fitz suffered an injury to his hand whilst, I presume, sparring maybe 3 weeks ago.

As a precaution, not being 100% and with Cheeseman to come in Sept, he was pulled out of the fight on his father's advice.

 

I like Eddie Hearn, but this card is a shambles.

Far too many of his boxers are fighting in America.

 

Given Smith has been a bit vocal recently, his interview at the presser for this could be fun
