Who wins the fight WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO heavyweight champions of the world Andy Ruiz or a determined Mike Tyson who showed heart having lost his belts and wanting to recapture them?
Please don't insult Mike with this question. Any version of Tyson that ain't completely shot would send Ruiz to the grave.
Tyson still had too much in 91, he had stamina to last a fight and killed the body. could be a good scrap but I see Ruiz getting stopped
Ruiz is tough, clever and has fast hands. I wouldn't pick him at this stage to beat someone as good as Mike Tyson but he can't be written off. We still don't know how good Ruiz is yet. No proof that he's good enough to beat a Mike Tyson. I'd expect him to beat the crap out of Tyrell Biggs, Frank Bruno and Carl Williams though.
Ruiz is a better body puncher than Mike was at that stage, and he didn`t display much stamina because he was just throwing ones and twos and therre was loads of clinching, it was a very boring fight.
whether Ruiz is better to the body or not is irrelevant my point is Tyson was going for the body more against Ruddock which seemed to be something they were working on for those fights, those body punches would have hurt soft bellied Ruiz. if you mean Tyson v Ruddock was very boring I'd have to disagree, both fights had their quiet spells but there were ferocious exchanges, both men getting hurt multiple times. that's not boring in my book.
Can you take a voluntary ban for a week or so ...... Bodyshots.... Tyson broke Ruddocks ribs.......I let you figure out how Tyson did it because the tooth fairy for sure did not help out.... Ruiz aint no 9 th world wonder......otherwise he would not have lost against the lackluster Samoan. Ruiz has the habbit to stick his chin out to dry when he flurries, squares up, does not clinch and likes to trade.......absolute deadly mistakes against Tyson........he is simply too game for Tyson and will get Ko'ed, not tko'ed, So he waxed the Bodybuilder........Ruddock Tyson would have put AJ to sleep within 2 without ANY trouble, Bruno replay.
Too soon for me to be picking Ruiz against Tyson. Joshua was a good win, but Joshua is a novice compared to Tyson in 91. I’m not even convinced Ruiz would beat Bruno, who is still more proven than Joshua is.
Man Ruiz has gone from fat bum to GOAT cause he beat some chinny robot... I marvel at this forums ability...
