Manny Pacquiao's Shell (post KTFO6) has had a better career than 97% of fighters in the game, but how much better would his career have been if he had FOCUSED on boxing?

Most fighters give their friends and families the boot during training camp. Many move their camps to get away from all of the distractions like Andre Ward. You hear it all the time from fighters about how they're so focused and distraction-free. Pacquiao tells people that he's FOCUSED and people think he's lying. He actually has to convince people that he's FOCUSED. But it makes sense...

Since 2010, Pacquiao has had TWO careers — one of which demands his time and attention year round. It's absolutely crazy. No boxer at the elite level has a second job. They eat, sleep, eat, and breathe boxing 24/7.

Without a doubt, if Pacquiao had never become a politician, he'd have gone undefeated for his entire campaign at 147! A FOCUSED Pacquiao would have been an unstoppable monster.

Who's to say...whatever he's done has been working just fine. For all we know the distractions might even be a good thing. Especially to an older fighter with 70+ fights.
You can't expect him to train as hard as he did 10 or even 5 years ago. Your body starts to break down.
I can't knock anything Manny has done since coming back from that KO loss....and i had completely written him off after that loss

Distractions got him knocked out. Look, when your entourage is 200 deep, you can't not be dragged into BS. It takes a mental toll. And that's not even factoring his full time job as a politician. Fighters say that boxing is 100% mental.

Look at everyone on the Top Ten P4P list — no one has a second job nevermind a full time political position. They train, fight, relax, and do light training until the next camp starts.

Just look at the training videos for this camp. At least a hundred people plus media at every workout. They beg for his attention and spectators seek autographs after every session. Can you imagine all the people dropping their problems on him and the probability of him actually responding is high?

After the Cotto fight Pacquiao stopped being a pro fighter. And turned into a boxer/celebrity.

Until that point he was still all about boxing and fighting and destroying opponents. But then we saw it against Margarito and Mosley. He looked bored at times and didnt go for the stoppage.

He's just that good. And some people think Mayweather is the best fighter of their generation.

Pac's active, so people aren't giving it too much thought. But overtime, long after Pac's retired, his career will prove to be more impressive than Floyd's and they will rank him as such.

Pac's own trainer Roach said it The Ring said it ESPN said and 90% of their peers said it. You can't have Jeff Horn problems and be the best of the era period:deal:

You can't be the best fighter of this era when you've ducked, cherrypicked, get caught using illegal IV fluids, and lost to JLC and Marcos "Son of Devon" Maidana whom you forced to wear pillows.

Here's Floyd fake-pumping himself up trying to convince himself that he won. Even he knew he lost — it's all over his face.

Here's Floyd chugging down a big ass bottle of water after the weigh in going even further in destroying any possible claims of being severely dehydrated hours later and needing 750 ml of illegal IV fluids. Timestamped for your convenience.

Neither Pac nor Mayweather are the best fighter of the 2000s. They both get crushed by Klitschko. This stuff of ignoring p4p gets old very quickly.
