    “The fight between Amir Khan and Billy Dib is now officially confirmed for the WBC International title and I’m proud that it will be contested for at the magnificent King Abdullah Sports City stadium in Jeddah. The specially commissioned WBC Pearl Championship belt that was due to be challenged for will now be contested at a future date. The winner of Khan and Dib will receive a WBC ranking in the top five of the welterweight division.”

    I think someone is taking the ****. Its amazing the pay days that Khan got this year and those still come, despite him being clearly shot and lacking in hunger now. Credit to him for achieving that status, but I have no interest in seeing him at this point- its time to retire and go back to his wife and kids

    I saw some poll recently that said Khan is like the 3rd most popular boxer in the world as a result of his notoriety in Pakistan and India. I work with several people who are originally from India and when I first mentioned that I was a big boxing fan, all they wanted to talk about was Amir Khan. This one girl was talking about how incredibly good looking he was and how she heard that Floyd Merryweather (this is what she called him) was too scared to face him and paid him $10 million to get out of having to fight him.
