I don't miss his interviews or his pre fight bollocks however god I miss watching him fight so many back to back wars, such a never retreat never surrender attitude such an engine had power and his chin has to be up there with the greatest In British boxing history. Will we ever see the likes of froch again?

Yeah Froch was pure value for money. His war with Pascal was one for the ages.

Terrific fight I had the privilege of being at the fight, what a great fight between two world class fighters.

My favourite homegrown fighter since the days of Benn and Eubank snr. and picked up the mantle beautifully after Calzaghe retired. Maybe if Callum Smith starts getting more active and can make some big fights. If Smith gets the Canelo fight and wins in style, his stock on the world stage would go through the roof and the huge legacy fights would follow.

Ultimately, Callum's future legacy awaits at light heavyweight and I can see him being competetive at the top tier but, their are some absolute beasts up there waiting for him. Maybe like Froch, he'll take the odd loss but show enough for him to remain always relevant at the top tier. Also there's the likes of Buatsi and Yarde to consider in huge domestic dust ups.

I actually see the future of British boxing sitting at light heavy for the next few years as long as Yarde and Buatsi continue on their trajectory and Smith moves up as expected.

Yarde is fighting Kovalev next isn't he? I have to think the odds are against him considering the upward trajectory in that one. Agree re: Froch though, real fight anyone throwback! I miss him!

Don't really see it myself. Beating the shells of Abraham and Degale doesn't compare to the list of names on Froch's resume.

Very good and entertaining fighter, had excellent scraps worth watching again on youtube. Taylor, Kessler x2, Pascal, Bute, Groves x2 all good to watch.

There's certainly potential there. Hasn't he had issues outside of the ring though? That's be my main concern not his ability.

Was listening to Froch on Matt Macklin’s podcast the other week.. strange bloke! Loves his conspiracy theories. What a top fighter though. Great heart and engine and could bang

He had many great fights, including when at Commonwealth and Britih level.
Fights like Adamu, Dodson, Reid and Magee, they were fights that improved him and got him ready for step up to world level. Now to many fighters go down the international route against many a fighter who are no better than area level.
