What did you think of him, mate, person to person and the show itself?

The Fury Meet and Greet was very quick but he was friendly and it was a very good show with Fury finishing off by singing American Pie.

Was surprised to learn the depths of his despair and did not realise how long the man had been suicidal. The one fighter he does not like out of the ring is Wladimir Klitschko. Surprisingly he did not have any bad words about Tony Dosh or Eh Day Hearn when asked about them.

Big Joe Egan was on before Fury and he also has a good life story to hear - the man is a class act and posed for photographs a full 30 minutes after the show. Incredibly he apologised to everybody for the long wait even though it was our privilege to meet him.

Would recommend this show to any boxing fan.

I recall Fury saying mad things about killing himself in interviews quite some years ago. "Sometimes I could wake up and just kill meself" and mad stuff like that. It went under the radar cause he's jack-in-the-box Tyson Fury who could say anything. I knew back then he must have had dark issues.

But yea, apparently he's just recently made it all up :D

In his own words 'even becoming the World Heavyweight Champion and becoming a millionaire made no difference to his issues'

He has always suffered from depression and simply told to snap out of it.

    Nice one Juergen.

Did you manage to slip any pudding references in there?

To badly paraphrase billionaire record company boss David Geffen, "People who think money makes you happy haven't got money".

inb4 "I'd rather cry in a Lambo" yeah, all true but tales of very rich men going to a dark place when their careers reach their zenith or they are simply rich enough not to work anymore are legion, Hatton for example.

Men need a purpose in life, something to get out of bed for to replace the old caveman necessity of going out to hunt and gather food which is still hardwired into our chimp-like brains. Women get it from having and raising kids, hence you see so many childless women who are complete nutbags or have 8 cats.

One of the few current Heavyweights not on my pudding list mate.

He certainly looks in good shape now physically and thought I would refrain from calling him a pudding as I did not want to put his lineal title on the line.

Absolutely, not the big man himself.. was thinking more his opponents and sparring partners.. it must have been difficult to sit through a humourous anecdote involving eddie chambers for instance without letting one rip..

As for the lineal title - and unlike the gaudy alphabet baubles - it's open to any fighting man born from his mother to challenge for

I thought it would be Bryan and I think that looks likely to happen now. Imagine this board if Joshua fought Schwarz and then Bryan. Another exhibition of Fury's ability before the Wilder rematch, I think he'll take his time with Bryan.

Get that vibe to be fair, what did he say about not liking klitschko? I think he only has a pop at AJ and Eddie sometimes because they’re rivals, it’s natural they’re gonna say the odd thing about each other.

Tyson was bigging up AJ on a radio show, can’t remember which one, before AJ came up properly.

Bryan is the interim WBA champion therefore it puts Fury at the top of the WBA rankings. With the belts about to possibly fracture it puts him in a strong position: Interim WBA champ, 2 with the WBO, 2 with the WBC and & 7 with the IBF. People whinge a lot but the fight makes sense as there are not many available ranked fighters out there due to scheduling or politics. It has been a problem all his career getting opponents, even at British level nobody wanted to fight him. For any fringe contender it would need to be life changing money, they had to guarantee Schwarz $1 million and look what happened to him.
