That's the only way the bodybuilder can win the rematch. And if he wants to prolong his career, he better do it or he'll be beaten down again by the blob.

Nope the UK fans won’t boo at all and will just be supportive. If he fights in America then the Mexican fans will boo like crazy if he just keeps Ruiz away all night and runs away with the fight.

Given Eddie does have the judges firmly onside. Would Ruiz need a KO to win. Wasn't he losing on the cards last fight?

Doesn't matter how any boxer wins, as long as it's clear and fair. A win is a win, particularly at world level. Huge redit to him if he does it, especially in America.

Side note: Saw ODLH have a spat with Hearn on twitter over Canelo opponents. Mentioned Hearn was having trouble getting the rematch on.

Method of victory doesn’t matter - he just has to win. I think if he boxes behind a solid jab, maybe double it to stop Ruiz from coming forward, maintains his height and reach advantage, then that’s half the battle won IMO. Ruiz is also a sitting target, lets not forget that- AJ was catching him with the right hand whenever he let them go. If he softens him up for 6 or 7 then his uppercuts and left hooks will also likely to come into play and he could get him out.

He has got to put him away early, how he does it he needs to decide and do it, because come round seven again he will be out of steam!!!

Everyday chief. Again, what relevance has that to my original post? I merely stated that ODLH had a twitter spat with Hearn and ODLH said Hearn was struggling to put rematch together. FWIW I much prefer Hearn to ODLH and I can't wait to see the AJ/Ruiz rematch.

Better to win ugly than lose good , if AJ doesn’t win the rematch he has pretty much no future . I believe even the worst trainer would instruct AJ to keep it long . Will that work ? Well I doubt it will be worse that his first fight tactics . If you have height and reach use it . Ruiz chasing Joshua could provide options for AJ to land shots ? The main danger for AJ is does he have sufficient gas to keep Ruiz off for 12 rounds ?

I think he just has to win doesn't he? I doubt he'd lose any fans over it and Eddie will put his usual PR spin on it as well as the Sky commentary team about how he's come from rock bottom back to the top in 6 months through hard work and dedication and the AJ fans will lap it up as usual.
