The winner has to be considered the female bantamweight GOAT, no? Idk about p4p, though..

I don't think so. I'll still consider Nunes the GOAT, even if Holly beats her.

In my opinion there are two WMMA fighter levels above the rest right now; Nunes and Valentina. Talent and skillwise i'll say Valentina is in a league for herself, she is elite everywhere, but just fell short in the 135lb division being smaller than her opponents. Nunes is the clear cut greatest based on resume, beating Valentina 2x, Tate, Rousey and Cyborg.

I can see Cyborg getting back in the conversation if she beats Nunes twice. Holly needs to do some more work, beat Nunes twice, defend the title a few times and maybe even move up and get the 145lb belt aswell.

As for the BW goat, if Holly beats Nunes twice and defends vs winner of Ladd and de Randamie, she's close. All time p4p she needs more than that though.

Yeah it would probably depend in part on the manner of victory and competitiveness. If she dominated Nunes and ended it early h2h, it could be a shortcut for Holm to make up a lot of that ground in resume differential. Their wins over Rousey cancel one another out, but Nunes still has Valentina, Cyborg & Tate (all of whom defeated Holm). You're right, would probably still need at least a rematch.

For me it's Valentina easily. She got shafted in the second fight. I hope Holm can dig out a win here but unfortunately think Nunes will control her against the cage and eventually wear her down for a submission or TKO on the mat.

From what I've read online a lot of the pundits/MMA talking heads view this as another easy 1st round massacre for Nunes. I guess its hard to stay realistic about Nunes given how she cut down Cyborg in her last fight, but I don't see this as another easy win for Nunes.

Other than a 3rd fight with Valentina 'Bullet', I think this is clearly the biggest challenge for Nunes. Holly is tough as hell: ate multiple cheap shots from GDR, went the distance with Cyborg and Bullet. Plus she has those awesome striking credentials. I don't think she wins. I predict Nunes will retain her title, and probably retire after another fight or two, but i think Holly banks some rounds along the way.

I think Nunes' grappling is the tiebreaker: Ricardo Liborio Black Belt (Nunes) > 'Tussa' Alencar Blue Belt (Holly)

Yeah I agree most of this,Shevchenko got shafted in that 2nd fight which robbed us of a chance at a mega trilogy fight to determine the best, maybe we will eventually get it anyway as I think her and Nunes are clearly the top 2 at the moment

Imo Shevchenko is the p4p best female fighter and beat Nunes imo at Nunes weight.

Facts. I dont like WMMA or female combat sports but still like Shevchenko. That's saying something.

Holly by KO is paying +750, that's an incredible value..

(yes this might well end up looking ridiculous if Nunes dispatches her easily, but on paper, the bookies are IMO wildly exaggerating this one, as Holm possesses a very solid puncher's chance, and will probably bring her all in what is likely to feel like a "win or go home" type of fight at this stage of her career..)

I used to be like that, just didn’t like wmma, however, hating Ronda and having Holm and Amanda blast her out has finally brought me around for specific fights.

Nunes is goat by a mile.

She's beaten every title holder in women's bantamweight and featherweight UFC history. She's knocked out 3 of the ATG fighters in round 1.

    By. A. Mile.

I wanna see her against Zingano next.

I can't be the only one who's bored with the constant GOAT talk by Rogan and company at every UFC event. Depending on who's on the card on the day it's McGregor, Ronda, Cyborg, St.Pierre, Silva, Nunes, Jones, Cejudo…. I know they have PPV's to sell, but come on.
