Weight doesn't matter, this fight goes like the Rocky Fielding fight, may be just a few rounds longer...
Only question is does Kovalev quit or does he get KOd old school style

Ha. Strongly disagree here. Canelo is undersized at 160. 175? Against Kovalev?! The fight is not happening, fellas.

Canelo has Kovalev's thudding jab to deal with, and he doesn't have the reach to get to Kovalev's body easily, or the know how, physical strength or inside game of Ward to negate that reach, wrestle with and wear down Kovalev on the inside to have similar type of success.

Sometimes a fantasy, I highly doubt Canelo would make this fight with Kovalev at 175 pounds. Props to him if he does.

Kovalev has been past his prime for a long time now but I don't think it's unfair to say that he's still a tad better than Rocky From Stocky

Yeah, if Rocky Fielding is the prosecution's best witness, safe to say the case would be dropped before it gets to court....

Kovalev and Clenelo's walk around weights are probably very similar and Kovalev said he weighed under 180 for the Alvarez rematch which is not only too low IMO but also a career lightest weight for him. Clenelo must weigh close to 180 on fight night now. However, there's no way Kovalev should agree to a catchweight, assuming there is substance to this talk of a fight against Clenelo

    A quote from 2014

“I’m making my weight. Five years ago I made it easier. Now it’s harder (but) my body, it’s good (for light heavyweight),” Kovalev (26-0-1, 23KOs) insisted when discussing a future at anywhere other than the 175 lb. division.''

“For super middleweight, it’s not possible. It’s already more than I am able to lose,” Kovalev dismisses. “Cruiserweight is a very big weight. I walk around at 190. The cruiserweight limit is 200 lb. I’ll be fighting against fighters much bigger than me.''

If Canelo is standing after 12 he wins the fight and I dont see Kov stopping Canelo.

It's Kovalev, and Canelo is a natural 154, and small at Middleweight & Super Middleweight. He will stop him.

I am not a Canelo fan but he is tough and can take a shot. I agree, if he is on his feet after 12, he gets the decision. I realistically can't see them taking the fight without draining Kovalev to the point that he is forced to enter the ring on a power chair or at least walking with a cane.

Canelo isn’t that powerful... he has a solid punch but has only knocked out glass chinned boxers. He didnt hurt GGG or even daze him in 24 rounds, same with Jacobs

Also, lest you all forgot.... KOVALEV OUTBOXED ANDRE MOTHER****ING WARD.

He's kind of one of the best pure boxers on the planet. It will not be easy to win a decision against him for anyone, yes that even includes Canelo..

Canelo has no power at 160, his power is non existent at 168, it will be featherduster like against a natural 175lbr.
