Remember one of the main criteria the Crawford fanboys and Loma haters cite as evidence that Crawford should be ranked above Loma in the P4P rankings is the fact that Crawford unified. Another the Crawford fanboys have cited is the fact that Crawford has beaten 2 Olympic gold medalists.

Also remember that, and in complete contrast to Crawford whether it be the Crawford who campaigned at 135, 140, or 147, Loma is giving away a lot of weight, reach or both to virtually everyone he's faced or will face in the future at 135.

For instance, Commey was significantly heavier than Beltran the other night but the later still had about 10lbs on Loma.

    Loma 138
    Beltran 148.5
    Commey 153

10lbs is a lot but Commey has about 15lbs on Loma for goodness sake.

Hell, even the champs at 130 weigh more Loma on fight night.

Twink was just under 142 for his last fight and I very much doubt that was a career lowest weight for him.

Berchelt was over 146 for his fight against Miura.

And I'm sure Herring with his 5'10 frame, 70'' reach and having spent the vast majority of his career up at 135 before moving down to 130 is significantly heavier on fight night than Loma is too.

Campbell is going to be much heavier on fight night than Loma as well because Shane McGuigan has worked on making him much bigger and stronger for the weight and Campbell is hitting a lot harder now too.

Campbell isn't just an Olympic gold medalist he also brought back gold from the World Amateur Championships and gold from the Europeans too so the class and pedigree has always been there.

He's already avenged his loss against Mendy and that was his first fight under McGuigan's tutelage and his loss against Linares, something a lot of people seem to be completely forgetting, was razor-close and he actually performed really well in that fight despite losing his father to Cancer two weeks before the fight. This bigger, stronger, harder hitting McGuigan trained Campbell would've beaten Linares IMO considering how well the pre-McGuigan trained one did against him.

For Loma's debut at 135 he fought #1 ranked WBA lightweight champ Linares (no 3 fights to settle into the new weight first).

Then in his 2nd fight at 135 he unified against WBO lightweight champ Pedraza even though it was his first fight back after shoulder surgery after suffering a very serious injury in the 2nd round in his previous fight against Linares. Loma very easily could have fought a Jason Welborne or a Edwin Rodriguez level opponent like Hurd and Ward did for their first fights back returning after shoulder surgery but he opted to jump right back into a unification match up with a two-weight world champion and world amateur silver medalist in Pedraza.

And his third fight at 135 would've been another unification match up with IBF champ Commey had the Ghanaian not suffered an injury.

So when Commey pulled out Loma decided to accommodate his mandatory (Crolla) because, duh, that's what you have to do if you want to keep your belts and unify all the titles.

And Loma's 4th fight at 135 is going to take him one step closer to unifying all the belts because the vacant WBC belt is on the line and should he emerge victorious from that one his next fight will be for all 4 of the belts because he'll be facing the winner of Commey and Teofimo, providing the later gets by the Japanese dude he's fighting in his next fight that is.

And he's fighting Campbell over on his turf where everything will be stacked against him.

And Loma would've already fought the much heavier Mikey up at 135 had the later not cashed out against Spence.

So the Crawford>>Loma because he's unified and beat 2 Olympic gold medalists brigade are obviously feeling a little threatened by the fact that they won't be able to cite those reasons to bolster their argument if and when Loma unifies all four belts and beats his 2nd Olympic gold medalist, which of course was a stupid argument to begin with because Loma is a 2 x Olympic gold medalist and has taken the scalps of 2 Olympic gold medalists in one tournament in addition to beating future world WBC world champions and World amateur gold, silver or bronze medalists in the same tournament that year.

And unlike Crawford, Loma will be unifying against opponents who are significantly heavier than him, not 5lbs lighter and in the Ukraine with all but one of the officials for his unification match ups also coming from Ukraine.

Luke Campbell should walk out to "me so horny" it could really throw Loma off and give him a chance.

    Totally true.
This fight is senseless. Luke already lost to Linares who lost to Loma.
So what's the point ? Loma says he does not want to fight Pacman because Pacman is too old and he does this stupid senseless fight.
    What a bore :fufu

Just like all other great champions in history, some people just want to see Loma to lose. I still remember when Buster Douglas KO'ed Tyson, that day people were cheering, applaused to see 'the man' was finally conquered. People wanna see him get stopped. Take FMJ, for instance, many people including me consider him the best technical boxer today. But I'd be lying if I don't want to see Pac to kick his ass. Why this is happening ? I don't know. That's boxing fans, that's human for you. Not every people like every boxer. Some boxers are just not for some fans.

What Loma aims and the process he went through to achieve it is a good example of a true dedicated boxer. Unlike Canelo and (to some extent) Mikey Garcia, he upholds and respects his own ambition of title unification. He didn't avoid his mandatory match and resulted him being criticized of only facing lower quality opponent (which is nonsense by the way as Crolla was WBA #1, Ring #4 and Boxrec top 5 in 135 prior to the match). Now he continues his mission by facing WBC currently no. 1 guy. And I still find people who says it is another mismatch, or even ridiculously, unfairness to the likes of Abdullaev or Haney. Can't understand why the hell people want weaker guys to be a champion. Only one good reason for that, they probably are not happy to see Loma achieve his goal.

Against Campbell, it was Loma's request that it would be held in UK, right in his own next opponent's turf. He is confident he will win and he is confident British people will love him. He isn't afraid of challenges and defeats, it motivates him. That, for me, is a personality of a champion.

The end here summarized Loma perfectly.
He has always fought whomever he had to fight.

Gonna be a competitive fight this is. Not the mismatch that some claim it to be. I’d say Campbell will cause lomachenko some problems but lomachenko will edge out a 8-4/7-5 decision imo
