Your wrong you and others mistakenly scored it like normal a boxing fight,the promoter at the previous event made it clear to those unaware what they wanted and he even tried cutting a fighters pay because of how negative he fought which was just like Paulie who fought like a ***** after all the **** he did before the fight

 

Combat sports should most definitely take aggression in to consideration more or even punish negative fighting like PRIDE used to with it's yellow cards

 

In zero combat sports is being aggressive and landing 5 shots none of which put paulie down or hurt him worth 50 jabs, check hooks, and bodyshots. Boxing, mma, or bare knuckle. Been studying bare knuckle since masvidal days.

The promoter picks and chooses who he wants to punish depending on the house fighter.

They were pushing Sam. He wouldn’t engage. Adams pressed the fight. Adams won easy and hasn’t fought since. Shewmaker has fought 3 x since. Why wasn’t Sam punished? He’s the house fighter like artem. It’s all about the money.

Artem won a canelo business type decision that didn’t tell the story of the fight.
Like I said, nothing anybody didn’t expect. No surprises.

 

Totally disagree with your breakdown of the fight,at best Paulie won it rounds 3-2 but imo Lobov was only 1 there to fight and while he may of missed with a lot he landed enough combined with his aggression to win a close fight,even some of the boxing media were able to give Lobov a bit more credit then you have.
Paulie gets zero sympathy from most because he fought like a ***** which looked even worse due to all the **** he talked combined with his scumbag tactics in the lead up to the fight

 

If you don't throw punches you don't win fights. When he did throw punches he did look the more skilled fighter but he appeared to me to be scared to engage which is laughable when he in the boxer who was a 2 weight world champ and he was fighting an mma journeyman. Lobov basically outworked him in a close fight. Also when rounds are only 2 minutes long you need to get busy and score points. A lot of the rounds were hard to score with little quality happening and then in rd 5 Paulie did absolutely nothing. What was he thinking ?

You would need to understand MMA to know that Artem was a complete nobody. Paulie was a top guy, like it or not.

Artem never went and fought the equivalent of Hatton or Cotto. Know why? Because he wasn't good enough! He is known more for being Connor's friend than anything else.

Paulie, in theory, is light years ahead of the guy in terms of hands. Just goes to show that the gap between MMA guys and Boxers has shrunk a hell of a lot in the last 30 years, and more than Boxers care to admit for.
