What would Golovkin’s legacy be if he was awarded the 2 decisions vs Canelo?

GGG we know all about him so I don’t need to say much but had he been awarded both decisions or atleast the rematch what’s his all time status?

For ggg fans would probably considered hom the greatest ever, for me who thought he got a draw then a loss I'd give him credit for finally having a decent win. Gggs whole resume is lacking that Canelo win would have been big for him. Unfortunately he failed

He would've knocked out Marvin Hagler in round 7 instead of edging a split decision win

He'd be considered a hype job who couldn't KO Canelo, still ducking Dre and Lara, while running from Andrade and Charlos, and refusing to rematch Jacobs, who beat him. His resume would be bum-city, dominated by stiff Euro-bums. And he is likely ducking KKKovalev, aka No Mas Noodles, who Dre destroyed twice. Golovkin is just about the money, while Dre gave Paul Smith his whole purse even though Smith came up from middleweight to weight bully SOG and was rightly fined ... but SOG let Jesus do the talking there and took the compassionate road. Golovkin and Sanchez talked the talk, but Dre walked the walk, as a fighter and as a man. Danny Jacobs survived cancer. How many cancers has Golovkin overcome, besides Sanchez? And Danny continues to inspire not just cancerous children, but Chris Algieri, who Spence destroyed. How many Argentinian migrants does GGG inspire, let alone hire as chefs to give them a better life?

'Little G' is gonna be his legacy. That's all.

GGG has an excellent legacy regardless but beating Canelo would've bumped it up in the public/casuals mind. An excellent boxer puncher that had the division ducking for a long time. Hats off to those that did have the courage to fight him, especially in his prime. He is/was absolutely fearsome.

Most Feared and avoided Middleweight we have seen for some time....Corruption in Boxing robbed him in my opinion.!!!

When your unwilling to make any type if concession to make a big fight you cant claim people are ducking you, GGGs legacy is beating subpr fighters and never trying to really make the big one.

The two Canelo wins being official would have been pretty damn big. Part of a fighter's rating in the eyes of people is built by fans and fans of fighters that get beaten. If a fighter I like is beaten by another guy, then I might have to acknowledge that A>B.

Unfortunately most of Canelo's best "wins" are borderline decisions that look even worse when seen in context of his PED abuse and weight games.

No different than it is now since he beat Canelo twice, one of the greatest MWs.

Corrupt decisions tarnish fighter's legacies a lot. Fury's legacy would be much better if he got a W instead of a draw vs Wilder.

I would have had a huge legacy if I had fought and knocked the F out of gg and canelo, both of them, in the first round.

Oh, yes, boy. God knows it's true.

It's a pity it never happened, isnt it?
