I like Wlad,he's proved himself the best of his era,and that's all you can do.
Looking at some of the comments on here though i'm wondering what i've been watching."He's fast and athletic!!" That would would be too much for Ali!! There's simply no comparison and that's of hand and foot,as well as mind,he's a veritable plodder in comparison to Ali.
Wlad virtually couldn't land a punch on a flat footed David Haye, what's he going to do against the fastest heavyweight of all time, who also would be coming in at angles and hitting him with lightning quick combinations.
Sure Wlads power would come into play if Ali stuck his chin out and invited it,but against a prime focused Ali that simply isn't going to happen.
Wlad as good as he is ends up beaten up,befuddled and stopped late.

Sorry but did you watch the fight? You saying that Wlad didn't clinch or lean down on Haye? Rewatch it and you'll see that Wlad clinched and pushed down on Haye multiple times. So much so hat Haye fell down. This was due to the danger of Haye's punching power. Had he opted to not clinch then Wlad would have taken more damage, which is something he doesn't do.

Is this a question? Prime Ali litterally did everything better, with the possible exception of Explosiveness

    Wlad vs Ali

A dream fight which two top 6 HWs ever imo face eachother.
I know I'm in the minority when I say I think Wlad wins

Ali was very slick, and very quick. He would pose all sorts of problems for Wlad. I think that Wlad's jab and grab style gives Ali hell, he was always open to a left hand due to his defence and style, Wlad probably has the best left hand ever at HW, his dominate snapping jab with his vicious left hook would be able to catch Ali

Ali would be able to catch Wlad alot as well make no mistake, but I don't think his shots would he anywhere near as effective. Wlad's huge size advantage would be used as best he can by closing the distance with his jab then grabbing the greatest, probably swinging him around and bear hugging him with a hand behind the neck, a bit of Ali's own medicine. Ali had legendary stamina and Wlad didn't, but Wlad with Stewart in his corner was very smart and would not fall for a rope a dope and would most likely let his full power loose to stop Ali from hitting the body.

Wlad's jab would prove horror for Muhammad as while Ali could slip a helluva right hand, he was jabbed consistently by Folley and Terrel, neither of which have Jabs as good as Klit. That pressure all night would surely give Ali something to think about before throwing his own jabs and without his own jab he'd lose rounds and eventually when it gets to the end hes found he's let to many rounds go.

Ali would be a very difficult night for anyone in history (obviously) but I think Wlad gets him over 12, 15 is a different matter however

Jesus Christ, Wlad obliterates him. Ali is no bigger than Haye, definitely with less strength and power and speed would be similar. Wlad dealt with Haye's speed well and still caught him enough. He'd be nowhere near as wary of Ali's punch, would catch Ali way more and KO him.

And that's litterally where the similarities start and end...

You guys seriously be comparing Ali and Haye. Ali would be too much for Wlad skill wise, and mentally.

That's also a possibility but I'd take Ali's KO win over Foreman and Him blitzing through top contenders in the 60s over Haye stopping Chisora and staggering Valuev

Well he wasn't for lesser fighters than Wlad, Norton, Young, a few fighters from the 60's he fought also..If you were elite with a jab and a great left hook then Ali was in trouble, he struggled with jabbers and left hookers, guess what Wlads great at both..Ali's overrated, a great yes, but loses as much as he wins against other greats

Ali would simply be out of his depth against any modern day SHWs. Lewis, Klitschkos, AJ, Fury. Wilder loses many rounds, so I would give Ali a chance to win a UD here if he protects his chin.

Overall, these are unfair matchups. Ali is outgunned in practically every department.

Yes Ali definitely struggled witth the likes of Norton and Young, but he managed to rise to the occasion and he win, something which Wlad failed to do most of his career.
